this is true
Tokyo is the only city where I don’t spend any time researching restaurants or looking at reviews.
I literally just walk in any direction and if any place looks cool I go in. Every single time the food has been amazing. Yet to have and meal in Japan.
Btw all the meals in the pics were around 6-12 USD
wow, heading out to BIC Camera now

just did a little thing with Claude Motion to introduce @ConnectorCentrl to some friends in accounting.
wow in 2025 the UK generated less energy per person than what it did in 1968 - when The Beatles' white album came out.

where is it all going to end?
@KonstantinKisin etc
so let me see if I understand this correctly: that HomeView thing just launched by Apple supports multiple users, but the iPad somehow can't?
Every day at 12am P(D)T, Astra becomes unavailable. Must be an interesting cron job that takes it down.

can someone recommend a LinkedIn MCP server that helps me read and respond to direct messages, even if it does _just that_ and only to inbound messages? I don't want to send anything, just getting my ChatGPT Dot to manage those conversations
same with product features i'm finding... worked with Claude to redesign/rearchitect some complicated identity management bits for @ConnectorCentrl, left it to simmer for a few days after it was done, just reviewed with fresh eyes and about to go into production with just a couple of tweaks 👌 perfect
it's almost as if a task manager UX instead of a list of chats, is the best way to manage tasks. who would've thought... cc: @thsottiaux
why i think @linear 's agent session is the best collaboration surface for agentic work (even better than slack):
- every task is tracked as an issue in linear's beautiful ui
- your job to be done is already described clearly in the linear issue description, so you can give your agent more precise commands compared to in slack
- prompts for agent (agent session) is separated from discussion between people (comments), so you don't have to scroll down a full thread to find the next thing your teammate says after a long agent reply
- people can steer the agent's work, even if the work is running on someone else's computer (with the help of @usemerlin_ai)
- you can view the full agent tool call history, in comparison, in slack, you can only view the latest one
- linear doesn't charge anything for it. it only costs you the api fee, and you can even use your own subscription if you're using Merlin as the agent delegation
One would want/expect a bit more ambition but I guess this is all that's on offer...
You know that feeling when you book a flight for 50 quid and somehow it ends up costing 100?
Getting seats together, correcting a typo, another charge here and there, it all adds up.
When the cost of living is already squeezing people, those endless extras can feel relentless.
So we're changing the rules for you.
Parents won't need to pay a penny extra just to sit next to their own children.
You'll be able to fix any name errors on your booking free of charge.
And because the last thing you want once you're on the plane is more stress, we're working with the industry to make sure that disruptive passengers who have been banned from one airline can be banned from flying with other airlines too.
I know holidays are expensive and these are small things, but hopefully they'll make your trip just that little bit cheaper and easier.
That's exactly the kind of thing I want this government to keep on fixing.
ehhhh this is exciting! reliability wise if CF is down, the world is down too
We are introducing Clef and Clef-flash, open-source decision models hosted on Workers AI for high-speed classification and agentic workflows. cfl.re/3Vlqb9P #BirthdayWeek

mmmm this is not a small deal. Eyes on Meta
Today we are launching Muse for Small Business, a collection of connectors that allows businesses to run, grow, and create new opportunities.
Every great American boom is the same story: scarcity becomes abundance, and GDP takes off.
In 1865, moving goods across America was scarce. Then rail track grew from 35,000 miles to over 192,000 by 1900, freight volumes tripled in thirteen years, and a farmer in Kansas could suddenly sell to a buyer in Boston.
Communication went from scarce to abundant with the telegraph, then the telephone, so a shopkeeper could check prices, place orders, and chase debts without leaving the counter.
Steel went from precious to plentiful: by 1913, American mills out-produced all of Europe, which meant cheaper buildings, cheaper machines, and cheaper tools for every workshop in the country.
Each scarcity that fell unlocked a wave of small enterprises, and AI is giving us another wave.
Building Muse for Small Business is a step toward how we make that abundance again: every business owner gets the tools and firepower that used to only belong to large companies.
We've seen this movie before, and it always ends with more prosperity than the pessimists thought possible.
The future is for everyone and today we're excited to accelerate that future muse.ai/business
