¡Hola, México! Today, we’re announcing plans to launch an @awscloud infrastructure Region in Mexico by early 2025. This Region will give developers, startups, enterprises, and other organizations more choice to run workloads & serve end users with lower latency, while meeting data residency preferences and requirements. This is part of a $5B investment in Mexico, and builds on our long-term commitment to provide customers in Latin America with the most advanced and secure cloud technologies. aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/new…

The numbers are huge. 93% of employers expect to use #generativeAI in the next 5 years. Employees will need training, and @amazon is filling that gap with “AI Ready,” a commitment that aims to provide free AI skills to 2 million people by 2025. This includes free #AI & generative AI courses for professionals, a new generative AI scholarship program for high school and university students globally, and a collaboration with @codeorg to inspire young learners about the possibilities of this transformative technology. If you want to learn generative AI skills, we have the programs to get you started. aboutamazon.com/news/aws/aws…
