🚨 Women are gambling with their life on nights out after repeated spikings at 'The Bank' Grimsby's biggest late night bar and party venue Bank
Systematic failure by Humberside police, still no statement taken 2 weeks later and it keeps happening with police overheard saying they can't understand why the venue hasn't been shutdown yet 😲
For many, a night out in Grimsby is supposed to be about letting loose and enjoying the towns social scene. But for a growing number of people, that enjoyment has been replaced by fear, panic, and a disturbing sense of abandonment by those sworn to protect them.
The recent reports of repeated spiking incidents to me at the Bank Venue have left women feeling vulnerable, with many echoing a single, frustrated sentiment: Humberside Police are doing NOTHING.
Following a spike in incidents in late 2021, Humberside Police promised a crackdown, launching initiatives and bringing in testing kits. Yet, here we are, and the stories from the ground suggest the reality of their response is far from proactive.
When victims report being spiked they are often met with logistical barriers. Drugs such as Ketamine can leave the system quickly. If police fail to act immediately, the window for forensic evidence closes, leading to the devastating conclusion that the crime cannot be proven.
"The quicker we get those reports to us allows us to do those immediate investigations," Detective Chief Inspector Becky Dickinson said in 2021. However, victims and venue staff have expressed that "immediate" is the last word they would use to describe the police response when multiple reports come in over consecutive weekends.
The Town is in FEAR after a woman was r*ped months ago and still NO DESCRIPTION has been released
The impact on the community is severe. Women are altering their habits, avoiding their favorite spots, and looking over their shoulders.
The feeling that Humberside Police are failing to take these "high-impact" crimes seriously is eroding public trust.
When reports are made and nothing changes, the police aren't just failing to catch the culprits; they are abandoning their duty to ensure public safety. A "steep rise" in reports requires a steep rise in action, not just a rise in sympathetic statements.
The victims of the Bank spikings in Grimsby deserve justice. They deserve to go out without fear of being poisoned. And they deserve a police force that acts with the urgency that a medical and criminal emergency demands. Until then, the silence from the authorities is deafening.
My advice would be to AVOID THE BANK in Grimsby until the situation is dealt with by the police and venue owners

The list goes on… they seem to be the foundation of everything.
