🇪🇺 🇪🇸 Thursday was the European Day of Languages, but trying to celebrate all of Europe’s languages in one day seemed to us an insurmountable challenge! So we were delighted to join our friends at @consejeriauk to round off the celebration at the Goethe Institut (@GI_London1).

I teach many children who are, or whose families are ‘immigrants’. These children and their families are amazing - hard working, resilient, polite, and are a great asset to our country. @covlanguages are working to unite communities to not see each other as enemies #BBCDebate

So great that Baroness Coussins has been advocating for languages and that she was able to incorporate some of the ideas that the 4 cities of languages (Coventry, Newcastle, Portsmouth and Manchester) presented at @APPGML recently. Working together can start to make a difference!
Such a great speech by Baroness Coussins. We were honoured to have been part of the Cities of Languages meeting at the House of Lords a few days previously. #LanguagesMatter #CoventryCityOfLanguages
