I'm running my race with all the seriousness and dedication it deserves, because at the end, if I fail, the blame rests on no one shoulders but mine....
Some pastors will lie in bed at night, caught in the terrifying grip of sleep paralysis, fighting to regain control of their bodies until they finally break free. Then Sunday comes, and suddenly, that frightening experience becomes a grand testimony of how they battled the devil in the dead of night and emerged victorious in the mighty name of Jesus.
And the congregation? They will sit there, listening with absolute conviction, believing their pastor went toe-to-toe with Satan himself and defeated him before daybreak. Funny people
Take me back to 2020–2022, during the shitcoin, PancakeSwap, Algorand and blockchain era. I was fortunate enough to make $100k, money that could have changed the entire course of my financial story. But guess what? One costly mistake was all it took to lose everything by late 2023.
Now, fast-forward to 2026. 3yrs have passed since that loss, but I’m still struggling to rebuild what took me so little time to lose. Mhen! There’s a particular kind of pain that comes with watching years pass while you’re still trying to recover from a single mistake.
The wisdom required to create wealth is often the same wisdom needed to preserve it. If you lack the understanding to earn money, you may also lack the discipline to manage it……
“Prioritize your future over packaging”, they say. Make that GLE wait first. After all, a good opportunity does not knock on your door every day. Let me try my chance at securing a better future in Canada first. The luxury can come later; the foundation must come first.
Canada, save me a seat. My story is about to cross borders. 🇨🇦✈️
You see perfume? Another debit from the deepest pits of financial hell, designed to wreck a man’s pocket.
Once you fall into the fragrance rabbit hole, spending on perfumes becomes almost effortless. One bottle leads to another, and before you know it, your money is disappearing in the name of smelling heavenly.
Nah, nah! I’ve seen enough. Never again shall my finances suffer for the pleasure of smelling expensive. 😭
Every time I make a profit from any business, fully aware that the money has no pressing responsibility waiting for it, I find myself handing it over to my landlord in advance for rent. Somehow, I have turned my house rent into an investment of its own. As it stands, I have paid 3yrs rent ahead of time. I can only hope that this decision, made in moments of financial comfort, does not someday come back to haunt me.
Even when Fola said, “Mo kọ́ rí ju BNXN, mo fẹ́ pa dà finesse,” in his song How Many, I couldn’t help but wonder if he truly understands the weight of the name he invoked. Fola is undoubtedly talented, but I doubt he could recreate the magic BNXN delivered on Finesse with Pheelz, even if he spent his entire career trying.
Let us give credit where it is due. Fola has his own light, and there is no need to dim it by placing him beside a man whose sound has already carved its own place in the history of contemporary Nigerian music. BNXN is not just another artist to be measured against; he is a phenomenon/captain in his own right. Please, let Fola be Fola, and leave BNXN out of that comparison. Some artists are gifted, but others possess a rare kind of magic that words can barely explain. BNXN is one of them.
They know exactly what they are doing, but they seem to find pleasure in the suffering of the poor. Deep down, they understand that doing what is right could give a poor man’s child the opportunity to rise beyond the limits their own children may never have to face. And that is where the problem lies: some wealthy people do not truly desire the progress of the poor, because they fear a world where the children of the less privileged can rise to stand shoulder to shoulder with their own. Sometimes, what they call order is simply a system designed to keep the poor in their place.
One prophet don use prophecy whine my mama again ooo😂😭. She don carry phone come dey explain everything give me. Abeg, this thing na ordinary prediction wey even me fit give this woman.
My gateman keeps repeating the same mistakes, despite the several times I have corrected him and drawn his attention to them. Sometimes, I wonder if the way I was raised to respect my elders has become a burden on my ability to express my frustration. Each time I feel the urge to raise my voice at him, I remember that he is older than I am, and I hold myself back out of respect. I can tolerate mistakes, but when the same corrections fall on deaf ears repeatedly, even the most patient person begins to lose his composure. How do you keep correcting a grown man who seems determined not to learn from his mistakes? 😭
The diversion of the Coastal Road from its original coastal alignment to the Eastern Road. What a masterstroke of political strategy! What a brilliant mind at work, a true architect of strategic governance. Surely, we are witnessing the genius behind good governance. What a strategist!
