A wire down on Loyalist Parkway (near MLP Residence) concerned motorists Saturday about 12:30 p.m. The wind warning continues for this afternoon and tonight with gusts up to 100km/h. There are also many reports of tree limbs falling.

Please stay off the roads tonight, emergency responders are responding to emergencies in near zero visibility conditions. Abandoned cars on the roads are difficult to see until the last moment which creates more risk for collision. Thank you for staying home.
