Smt. Vrunda Manohar Desai, IRS, Textile Commissioner, Government of India, Mumbai, called on Shri Anoop Kumar Agrawal, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), MSME and Textiles, Government of West Bengal, during her official tour to Kolkata.
Discussions focused on the Scheme for Integrated Textile Parks (SITP), upcoming schemes of the Ministry of Textiles, the Textile Statistical Returns System (TSRS) Portal, and the Tex-RAMPS scheme.
The interaction emphasised strengthening Centre–State coordination, promoting investment, enhancing the competitiveness of the textile sector, and facilitating the effective implementation of government initiatives for the growth of West Bengal’s textile ecosystem.
