Good coach who gets a bad rap. Rare bulls W
It’s for sure world-altering in terms of changing how we interact with others, how we think about what counts as “real” art and prose, and I also think it’s been a big driver of creating an analog counterculture. AGI is a long way off, though.
I really think the Memphis Grizzlies will overperform this year. They’re basically all-in on size and defense around Ja, and that combo could turn into a Minnesota-style buzzsaw in the regular season.
This is absolutely true. I’ve posted 1 Substack article total, but I have 5-6 ideas cooking in Drafts and just the process of writing out ideas brings out a much higher level of critical thinking and thoroughness.
I suspect, by the way, that teams' answer is that the public underrates lotto picks and overrates late firsts.
The FRP payouts last night were extreme, but if you think a FRP down the line will be later than 18 or so, use it to move up.
I know a few swings have been taken at it, but designing a rigorous NBA Draft Pick Value model is a dream of mine. I don't think anybody *really* knows what these picks are worth.
Why are they airbrush filtering Dylan man 😭
During his pre-draft media session, Dylan Harper made it clear that “nothing is set in stone,” but confirmed the Spurs brought him in for a second workout because they wanted another look. He praised the organization and coaching staff, and said he’s genuinely excited about the idea of playing alongside Victor Wembanyama.
If you're interested in the problems I saw on in NBA Draft Analysis that led to this model (or are just down to read a new writer's stuff!), you can check out my article here: open.substack.com/pub/clockh…
My final (and first public!) big board for the 2025 NBA Draft! This is the result of BAM (v1.0 of my Bias Adjustment Machine), a simple algorithm meant to help me identify and account for my biases in the scouting process. #NBADraft #NBADraft2025
