The future first-ballot Hall of Famer leaves Comerica Park for the final time as a 10-time All-Star, 3-time Cy Young Award winner (should be 4, we agree with you Kate Upton), 2-time World Series champion, 2011 AL MVP and 2006 AL Rookie of the Year. Over 21 years, Verlander gave us 3,576.2 innings, 3,560 strikeouts and three no-hitters, while striking fear into the hearts of hitters and creating countless memories for the cities of Detroit and Houston and baseball fans everywhere. From the young flamethrower who burst onto the scene in Detroit to the veteran who kept finding ways to dominate, Verlander gave baseball 21 years worth of moments we won’t soon forget.
