but it was not long until it was just the two of them- with the glare of the empire and the whisper of rebellion shrouded for another evening .
she allows herself to relax , just barely. . .

for padmรฉ will always bleed for her democracy and for a galaxy in which her people have the luxury of choice .
and so she comes to help lead the rebellion by moonlight , while dancing with the devil by the light of day .

and so the queen begins a most coralled game - lips spewing lies that fester and famish .
to the empire , she is a loyalist , a queen of the old world tolerated for now as they conquer .
but within the dead of night , the true ways of her stubborn heart are revealed .

- keep mind of .
amidala never becomes a senator , her heart centered in naboo.
and before she can quite entertain the thought , a new empire rises to power , at its head a man once known and a ghostly figure known only as DARTH VADER .
padmรฉ vows then to do what she must .

the young girl known as PADMร AMIDALA only encountered anakin skywalker once . when he was but a boy and she was already a queen .
but the boy is but a brief flicker in the grand scheme of things , and although she had often wondered what became of him - she has her people to -

@INVADCR's eyes caught there from across the ballroom - her cloudy vision both a world and a lifetime away .
the sharp incline of breath and stern tug of corset there upon her waist , a stubborn reminder that she was here to play ' lady ' tonight and not rebel . . .
but what -
. . .
no degree of learned patience could prepare her for this - she hates the way a part of her is more than content to just [ be ] . it was ANAKIN'S familiar scent that so clung to the one she hated .
petite palms press to his chest , but they do not shove , not yet .
