I have tonnes of clothes and lingerie going up for sale.
Some brand new!
Including my beloved Dita Von Teese Leopard print set.
I took me months to source the entire set and I only wore it once for a photo shoot.
Such a regretful sale.
Comment or DM me if you'd like the link.

We stand with Carers UK. Unpaid carers sacrifice income and security to provide essential care. UBI would provide an income floor, alongside properly funded social care, better benefits and stronger carers' rights. Care is work. Poverty must not be its price.
“You shouldn't have to lose money to care for someone”
Ahead of next week’s Budget, unpaid carers are sharing their experiences of financial pressures.
Carers UK is calling for urgent reform of carers’ benefits and better support for work/care balance.

I am considering doing a tour to Melbourne in either late November or early December!
If I do decide to don't waste my time like Canberra gents did.
This will likely be my last tour of Melbourne ever as I'll be retiring next year.
Taking expressions of interest x

Could push for doing it this way universally. Annual stock issuance into a fund with pipes that go to everyone.

Antisocial Yahoos who don't want to pay any taxes are the greatest blight on humanity. They're holding back civilization.
Land value tax & value added tax funded universal basic income now. 2% in LVT every year, 20% VAT on every purchase. Redistributed as $1,400/month checks.
It’s so depressing that we’ve had blueprints for sustainable and equitable societies since the 19th century but officials decided to ignore them and court greed & excess for hundreds of years.
The needlessly prolonged existence of poverty is humanity’s greatest shame.
The working class CANNOT & WILL NEVER reap the benefits of advancing civilization as long as they are intercepted by the owning class.
Land is necessary for everything, but all of it has been captured, so increased productivity only leads to increased rents.
LVT & UBI now.
We solve poverty by building an economy where a decent life is a given, because ordinary work doesn't afford one anymore.
It never will, either. Not as long as the owning class continues to squeeze the working class. Living can be a given with UBI, universal healthcare, etc.

Your reminder that immigrants pay far more in Social Security taxes than they ever get in return, and that the problem is the rich not paying the same percentage the rest of us do.
Trump’s mass deportation push could cut retirees’ Social Security benefits by $2,000 a year. The program’s projected insolvency date has already moved up to 2032, partly due to mass deportations.

A safety net catches people after they fall. UBI provides a floor so they don't fall in the first place. Combine it with disability support, UBS, decent wages and secure housing. The answer to working poverty isn't making people on benefits poorer.

Most Americans are correct.
Most Americans think Donald Trump is profiting off the presidency in unethical or illegal ways and is focused more on his wealth than helping people like them, a new AP-NORC poll finds. to.pbs.org/4zx8nax

Housing shortages, insecure work, student debt, underfunded services, inequality, soaring living costs, climate anxiety... the list goes on.
UBI, UBS and a Green New Deal could tackle root causes, reduce downstream costs and deliver better social returns.
What's stopping us?
This is a great post. A true example of constructive use of the platform.
The arrangement we have of dependence on finding an employer to sponsor our survival cannot and should not be considered by anyone as being freedom. It puts all the power into the hands of employers, and as businesses consolidate, our survival is dependent on fewer and fewer and richer and richer people.
It is imperative that our survival be disconnected from employment and connected instead to citizenship, or even better, a basic human right to existence.
That does not then mean that no one will work just as being born into wealth does not mean rich people do nothing. It is about freedom from domination. Those born into wealth are free from being forced to work for their survival and they use that freedom to CHOOSE their work.
If you want a shitty dystopian present and future, by all means, keep insisting that your survival be tied to your employment. Be a good little bootlicker.
If you want a better future, fight for unconditional basic income and public services where We the People recognize each other's rights to existence and make sure we all have the freedom that currently only a relatively small percentage of people have.
If we cede the power we once gave ourselves via the Constitution to corporations, our democracy will be lost and the good future we can win will be lost along with it.
UBI is a key victory in maintaining people power over corporate power and the power of capital (especially as capital performs an increasing amount of labor) by granting the power to say "No" to all employers through democratic participation. That is true bargaining power currently only approachable through unionization of labor, whose power will continue eroding without UBI to undergird it.
I absolutely do not want a future where corporations have taken over the role of government, and where freedom is an illusion wrapped in marketing gimmicks.
But that is the way things are headed unless we get our shit together and reimpose the power of democratic self-government over the power of corporations and those who own them.
Demand UBI or accept dystopia.
