This example of colonic Kaposi sarcoma has both spindle cell and lymphangioma-like areas. It even had perfect hyaline globules (indicated).

Gastropathy associated with losartan with parietal cell loss mimics autoimmune gastritis but there is no enterochromaffin-like cell hyperplasia. There is only mild antral inflammation. This case has a collagenous gastritis pattern of injury. Note the pseudopyloric metaplasia.

Probably one of the worst enemy of the surgeon. Intrapancreatic spleen may be taken as hypervascular lesions and mistaken by a NET

It's a good day to see some amyloid. Love the apple green birefringence.

Maybe this patient has Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. A duodenal gastrin-producing NET may have resulted in hypergastrinemia that produced a NET of ECL cell type at the GE junction (extending from the gastric oxyntic mucosa! Pertinent testing was suggested.

A fooler described by J Misdraji and a cast of Pathology stars!

These samples are from a patient known to have Behcet disease. It is a vasculitis that can affect both small and large blood vessels, usually veins.

An example of crystal storing histiocytosis; the patient needs to be evaluated for a plasma cell disorder or other lambda-restricted B cell neoplasm.

Counting eos is not enough 🔍
15 eos/hpf supports EoE, but EoE-HSS captures true disease activity by scoring 8 histologic features.

This lesion arose in the small intestine, resulting in obstruction. It probably was related to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

New kid on the block, sagittal method of grossing Whipple resections. Duct centric lesions are better defined by this method @OlcaBasturk

This gastric body biopsy shows severe destructive gastropathy - the parietal cells are gone! It is too inflamed for autoimmune gastritis/pernicious anemia. Apoptotic bodies, usually scarce in the stomach, are indicated. This was a result of pembrolizumab immunotherapy.

Appendicitis with an incidental serrated epithelial proliferation. The preferred terminology is "serrated polyp" rather than SSL as they have different genetics to their colonic counterparts. NB this is not LAMN as the muscularis mucosae is intact @Pathoutlines @RaulSGonzalezMD
