🦌 Deer were involved in over 1,300 road traffic incidents recorded across Ireland since 2019. As rutting season begins (mid-September to November), stay alert, especially at dawn & dusk. Slow down in deer crossing areas and remember: where there's one deer, there may be more.

Rather than reading the (frankly, pathetic) comments on our earlier post, find out more about the incredible Sables Shamrocks story via the link below…
Welcome to Ireland 🇮🇪

Brilliant scenes in T2 last night as the Sables Shamrocks arrived into Dublin Airport from Kabwe in Zambia (via Dubai) to fulfil their dream of playing in the upcoming @officialgaa World Games in Waterford.
We think they’re happy to be here!
Best of luck, lads 🇿🇲

Latest ECM charts show the heatwave continuing well into next week. Heatwaves of 10 days or more in Ireland are very rare, based on criteria of 5 days over 25c being a heatwave. The longest on record is 14 days in 1976.

A fine spell of summer weather ahead, temperatures increasing with sunny spells for more areas as we go the week and into the weekend. Temperatures up to 29c and increased chance that this fine warm spell will last well into next week now also with just small chance of thunderstorms. There will be some patchy drizzle in parts of West and North but those areas will see more sunny spells too.
