CoreDAO is preaching decentralization while posting a validator handoff. The chain is still run from the inside. On 5 Sept you said ~255M CORE came out early, ~186M was reversed, and ~69M had already left the wallets you could touch. Recovery, you said, was with partners and police. No wallet list. No freeze split. No recovered total. You cannot call it decentralized while the supply trail and the remaining block-production role still sit with the same team. Post the addresses, or say you will not.
Core is taking another step towards decentralization. Since 2023, DAO-operated validators have helped keep blocks flowing as independent operators joined and strengthened the network. Together, these validators have supported years of uninterrupted block production. Over the coming months, the DAO will fulfill its long-term plan and begin the process of gradually handing over its remaining block-production role to independent validators, building on the work these operators already do to keep Core running. This transition marks a new chapter for Core, with independent operators powering the network. Thank you to every validator and Coretoshi who has helped move Core forward.

#BREAKING: 🇮🇱🇫🇷🇵🇸 Netanyahu said Macron called him on October 7 and urged an immediate ceasefire through diplomacy. He replied that the situation would not be solved that way, describing Hamas as “monsters,” “neo-Nazis,” and worse than ISIS in some respects, and warned that failing to stop the group would put them on the streets of Paris. He added that this is “exactly what is happening right now.” The remarks frame a long-standing dispute over how to respond to the October 7 attacks. Do you see recent events in France as matching that prediction?

#BREAKING: 🇫🇷 Two young men who had just looted a Decathlon store were filmed sorting bags and items outside a church in Bordeaux, while two priests watched from the doorway. The clip, shared by Impact Media, captures the pair amid scattered goods near the entrance during the unrest of October 17, when dozens of shops in the city center were targeted. Witnesses linked the men to the Decathlon looting earlier that day; some viewers have noted the priests appear calm or even smiling rather than stunned. What stands out to you most in the footage?

#BREAKING: 🇮🇹 271 people were detained in Milan on Sunday, with 32 arrested, including 23 minors and 13 foreign nationals. Police used tear gas and water cannon after hooded groups clashed with officers, set bins on fire, smashed shop windows and looted stores near Piazza del Duomo during cost-of-living protests. The violence, which began the day before in several northern cities, left the square in front of Milan’s cathedral temporarily cleared of tourists and shoppers. How significant is the involvement of so many minors in these repeated outbreaks?

#BREAKING: 🇮🇱🇺🇸 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted that he spoke with President Trump after Trump announced support for him in Israel’s elections. Netanyahu said the two will work together to eliminate the Iranian threat “forever” and called on Israelis to vote for Likud. The message underscores the close personal and strategic alignment the two leaders continue to project. How do you read the timing of this exchange?

#BREAKING: 🇫🇷 Looters entered residential buildings on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin in Paris’s 10th arrondissement on Sunday night. Video from the street shows a large group of masked individuals clustering at doorways and moving in and out of entrances near a bar-tabac as unrest continued for a second evening. This followed Saturday’s nationwide cost-of-living protests, which authorities said left roughly 1,800 people arrested and more than 1,500 businesses damaged across France. The shift from shop windows to private buildings marks a clear escalation in the same districts. What details stand out most in the footage?

#UPDATES: 🇺🇸🇮🇱 Nine days before Israel’s October 27 vote, President Trump gave Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a “Complete and Total Endorsement” for re-election. In a letter to Israelis, Trump called Netanyahu a “Great Warrior Prime Minister” and an “even greater Partner for Peace” against Iran. He wrote that if Israel elects “anyone other than Bibi,” the United States would have to confront Iran itself, work he said he is not inclined to do, and added that “BIBI NETANYAHU WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN.” Netanyahu is already Israel’s longest-serving prime minister. The election is the country’s first national vote since the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack. The endorsement arrives with polls showing Netanyahu’s bloc short of a clear majority against a reorganized opposition. How do you read the timing of the letter?

French police used tear gas grenades to disperse a group of protesters at Place de la République in Paris on Sunday after an undeclared call for a new gathering. #BREAKING: 🇫🇷 The intervention followed Saturday’s larger nationwide demonstrations over living costs and school conditions, which drew an estimated 550,000 people and saw widespread clashes, fires, and over 1,200 arrests. Sunday’s gathering was smaller and quickly broken up by officers already deployed in the area. How long do you expect these follow-up assemblies to continue in the coming days?

#BREAKING 🇮🇷🇮🇱 Iran’s parliament approved Mehrdad Akhlaghi as Defense Minister on Sunday, replacing interim leadership after Aziz Nasirzadeh was killed in February strikes. Akhlaghi stated: “Our finger is on the trigger; we are ready for war with the Zionists.” He said new production facilities are being built inside mountains and secure sites instead of previous locations. The remarks follow months of interim leadership and reported efforts to harden defense manufacturing after earlier strikes. What does the focus on underground sites indicate about how Iran is preparing for possible further fighting?

#BREAKING: 🇮🇹Clashes broke out in central Milan during a cost-of-living protest on Saturday, with groups attacking police in Piazza Duomo in front of the cathedral. Around 5,000 people had gathered for the march. Participants threw stones, firecrackers and barriers; officers responded with tear gas and water cannons. Shops were damaged or looted, roughly 25 people were injured and about 50 detained, nearly half of them minors. The disorder in Milan’s main square formed part of the same day’s wider unrest seen in French cities. Have Italian authorities released a final injury or arrest tally for the Duomo area?

#BREAKING 🇫🇷 The historic Limoges City Hall, a listed 19th-century building, was set on fire and largely destroyed during Saturday’s protests. A group forced entry, started the blaze inside, and the fire reached the roof; the campanile later collapsed. Local authorities called most of the structure lost and described it as a heritage catastrophe. The deliberate targeting of a working municipal building stands out among the day’s other arsons and property attacks. Have officials released any update on the remaining structure or investigations into who entered the building?

#BREAKING 🇫🇷 A Rolex boutique in Marseille was entered and looted during Saturday’s nationwide protests. Video from inside the store shows people taking merchandise after the window or entrance was forced. Luxury shops were among the retail targets reported in Marseille, Paris and other cities the same day. The targeting of high-value watches fits the broader pattern of opportunistic looting that accompanied the cost-of-living marches. Have police or the store issued any estimate of the value taken or arrests linked to this location?
