So much progress in Europe on the 2nd norm -- no social media before 16. Last week, Pres. Macron said he'd push the EU to enact a min. age of 15; if that fails, he'll do it in France: politico.eu/article/emmanuel… And yesterday the Dutch government advised parents to not let children under 15 open social media accounts: today.rtl.lu/news/business-a… Parents around the world see the damage. Some of those parents are legislators. Kids should not go through puberty on social media platforms.

People often ask me what makes the Amwell Magna Fishery such a special place. Well here it is. Last night 7:30pm, Pregnant Mayfly spinners on the wing, the sound of babbling water, the peal of bell practice from the Norman church on one side of the valley accompanied by a chorus of cuckoo on the other. That work for you? 😎

Why not pull the lever of banning smartphones to under 16s? We have been campaigning for restriction of the internet for children for YEARS! It is simple: support the parents: ban the phones.
The challenges raised by Adolescence aren't something we can simply legislate for — if I could pull a lever to solve it, I would. It's only by listening and learning from the experiences of young people and charities that we can tackle this. That's what I've been doing today.

Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh lived a truly meaningful life. I have no doubt the best way we can pay tribute to him is to continue his work to promote peace in the world. bit.ly/35dUncV

.@ucas_online i'm doing lots of references for applicants. UCAS gives extensive instructions for how i should do that. In return i suggest you give more than 47 lines in order to receive your specific format and prescriptive style of information and reference.

Nemophilist (pronounced ne-'mo-fe-list), is an obscure word that hasn't really been used for over 100 years. It means someone with a love or fondness for forests, woods, or woodland scenery, or someone who often visits them – a 'haunter' of woods. @WoodlandTrust

1) A stranger than fiction Roman ring mystery thread: this enigmatic Roman gold ring was found in a ploughed field near Silchester in 1785. The square bezel has a portrait of the pagan goddess Venus, inscribed backwards SUNEV for use as a signet ring by the owner. Curiously...

The Doc Stephen got me into taichi and 'Taoism', helped me to heal and was incredibly generous with his time and energy. He was enjoyment in motion. 💙
It is with great sadness that Barefoot Doctor/Wayward/AMPEDHEAD team announce the passing of Stephen, known to all as the Barefoot Doctor. Stephen passed away peacefully at home. A truly special soul Stephen touched the lives of many through his music, teachings and healing work.
