I can try to answer this question but what do you mean by power accumulation here? How do you envision this? Materially how is the proletarian state more "powerful" 5 years after the revolution vs 20 years? In the Chinese model the idea is to liberalize the economy to achieve rapid economic growth. There are three aspects to look at here: production, distribution, and planning. As the country develops and the rate of profit falls to zero, the market/private sector becomes less useful for fostering development and the state gradually assumes a bigger role until production is controlled entirely by the state. Coinciding with that is the transition from market based distribution according to capital to product-based distribution according to labor. Lastly is the transition from a state-dominated market to total to 100% central planning. What I have just described is a very simplified model of Chinas plan to go from what they call the primary stage of socialism (what they are in right now) to the advanced stage. I skipped over the intermediate. So you in this sense the state becomes more "powerful" because they eliminate the market and the state becomes 100% of the economy. But it's not becoming less accountable to the working class in this way - the wealth inequality and corruption that exist in current china isn't something that makes the state more accountable. Through this process the old class system is eliminated since everything becomes public. Everyone's a proletariat now, but the real inequality, at least in power if not in wealth, is party officials vs everyone else. But how does the transition from advanced socialism to communism happen? This guys right. It used to be in the older editions humans were the dominant race but you'd still see a lot of elves and dwarves and the occasional gnome and hobbit.
