lrt that's really funny to me that France French has more English loanwords than Quebecois. meme really is accurate
I guess in France, the anti-loanword force of l'Académie Française is top down, with most people not caring and using whatever they want. but in French Canada, the language and culture is much more at risk, so it's bottom-up as well

נתניהו מוביל את המדינה לשפל חדש, מתוך אינטרסים אישיים בלבד. הוא בורח מהצעת עסקת חטופים, בורח מאחריות, ומסכן את כולנו במלחמות כדי להציל את הקריירה שלו.

this is why i hate that people adopted the "hallucination" label. they're not hallucinations, they are precisely what LLMs do the whole time: statistically valid sequences of words, nothing more
If all we had was ChatGPT, we could say, hmm “maybe hallucinations are just a bug”, and fantasize that they weren’t hard to fix.
If all we had was Gemini, we could say, hmm “maybe hallucinations are just a bug”.
If all we had was Mistral, we could say, hmm “maybe hallucinations are just a bug”.
If all we had was LLAMA, we could say, hmm “maybe hallucinations are just a bug”.
If all we had was Grok, we could say, hmm “maybe hallucinations are just a bug”.
Instead we need to wake up and realize that hallucinations are absolutely core to how LLMs work, and that we need new approaches based on different ideas.
