I’m pretty angry at Public Health bodies promoting their “wonderful” Flu & Covid vaccine programme, while they fail to mention you have to be a left handed unicorn over the age of 900 to qualify for a Covid vaccine in the UK now*

😆😁 Be good!
I’ve purchased some sweets for the trick-or-treaters. I do hope they appreciate crystallised violets.

We've waited patiently for a plan to end neoliberalism. We won't wait anymore. We need rent controls We need a wealth tax We need *serious* cuts to energy bills Instead it's a few pence off gherkins & a payout which the experts say won't touch the sides on energy bills.

So the announcement from Treasury this morning designed to get good headlines was scandalously misleading as it did not mention a commencement date. Healey reveals it will be April 2030 which is after the next general election!

Unpaid carers thrilled to hear from the Chancellor of the 2030 start for the end of the cliff edge which means if they earn 1p over £204 a week they lose all their Carers Allowance - until they realise that is the year it begins not the time!

It would be nice if medical leaders could, you know, LEAD!
Replying to @fillthewhole
My GP surgery actually has a poster up, requesting patients to wear masks now. But not a single member of staff were masked, so patients have no role model. I was still the ONLY masked person in the whole building. My appt was cancelled due to staff sickness, by the way.🙄

Erm, how do you think self-employed people manage, when they have to charge enough to cover rising costs of supplies, with tariffs, and VAT? And if those small business people are barely earning enough, but want to support British farmers and local suppliers....? Madness

Well people coughing their lungs up in wave 13 of this SARS2 pandemic and not wearing a mask cause me alarm and distress, particularly if they’re in a shop and near me. Probably not what the Govt has in mind for the use of Respect Orders, but still…
🚨 NEW: Respect Orders are now live across England and Wales People who cause harassment, alarm or distress to others can receive bans from town centres, anger management courses or unlimited fines Anyone who breaches an Order can be arrested and jailed for up to 2 years

.@Neal_Compass: "I couldn't live on the meagre benefits people are getting. To suggest that we have to cut those.. actually that's where the engine of growth is, that's the people who spend.. how do you get people out spending.. not by cutting benefits of people at the bottom"

Wrapped in extra blankets, thankfully cosy as the old college I'm staying in has a power cut. The storm is blowing through the lovely old single glazed windows. I will try and sleep through and see if any pieces of tree have blown down in the morning

The BBC have not reported this from Bell's Report. Please RT this until they do inform the public of this. "Anti-Jewish attitudes are typically less prevalent and have remained more stable, whereas anti-Israel sentiments are more prevalent and have been increasing' Thank you.

I needed a reset and I'm doing so alone at the moment. A day after my recovery I'm delighted my home is cleaner, I used the sewing machine to mend a tunic, found my embroidered fruit designs, did some weeding before rain got heavier.
