No idea if it's better yet, but Opus 5.5 is way faster on MCP data pulls compared to 5 or even Fable. Rippps anthropic.com/claude-opus-5-…
The AI hype machine knows no bounds.
30% of Windows PCs are still on 10, which did a final release in 2021 - it's about to be 2027.
If Omarchy cracks 3% marketshare in the next 18 months it'll have done super well imo
I'm 100% convinced Omarchy will be bigger than both Windows and Mac in the next 18 months
Once you go open source, it's impossible to go back
When you get the taste of what it's like to use an AI operating system you have 100% complete control over, your life changes
I've totally customized everything
From the way the windows resize, to integrating my todo list, note taking, calendar, and email directly into the OS. To building and launching multiple plugins. It's 100% mine
AI has completely unhobbled open source and it will obviously kill off closed source. You realize this within 5 minutes of using Omarchy
You realize after years of being a slave to Windows bloatware/copilot/ads in their OS you don't HAVE to tolerate it anymore. You now have full control of your OS
Before, open source didn't matter to most people because most people couldn't read or write code
But now with AI agents, there is no barrier. ANYONE can write code. Meaning you can change any part of the product you don't like
That makes open source 10000x more important, because now people can personalize open source products any way they want
Openclaw and Hermes opened my eyes to this. And now Omarchy has me wide awake.
This is the future. EVERYTHING being open source. EVERYTHING being customized to YOU.
Do yourself a favor and follow these steps:
1. Find any old computer you have that you're not using anymore. Can be your crap Lenovo from college (You DON'T need to buy a new computer for this)
2. Grab a USB drive. Plug it into your daily driver computer
3. Ask an agent on that computer to flash it with Omarchy so you can install it on your other computer
4. Then ask your agent to walk you through installing it on your old computer
5. Do those steps. Within 5 minutes you'll be using a new operating system that will change how you think about computers
Thank me later
A week after the worst driving round of my life, I had it on a string all day but couldn’t buy a putt. Golf!?
🤷🏼♂️
I’ve explored Claude at times a lot over the last year and a half but now it’s become my daily driver. 🔥 updates today.
I've been enjoying a half-dozen use cases for my OpenClaw install, but much of the "hype train" here on Twitter sounds *very* similar to the Web3/NFT community a few years ago.
Jealousy is a terrible cologne.
Bill Belichick will not be a first-ballot Hall of Famer as he fell short of the 40 out of 50 votes needed, sources told @DVNJr and @SethWickersham.

But the gurus called it passive income?
Yesterday we closed on the sale of our lake house.
It was a decent financial outcome but unexpected story.
Weddings, parties, taxes and The Hunting Wives are all involved.
We had it for two years. Our original idea was to AirBnB it and then use it ourselves when we wanted.
What happened was different.
First, AirBnB is a ton of work. I don’t know what we were thinking. Just the day to day of responding to messages is a pain.
Second, we never got to use it because we have a bunch of kid stuff on the weekends.
Third, when we did use it, there was some punch list to do which made us dread going.
Fourth, we thought we’d use it more because it was close to our house but we actually use it less. When you’re only 30 min from home, you just go home.
Fifth, once or twice there was some crisis- people had a wedding there and something went wrong, a party got out of control, something broke.
Anyway, the financial returns were ok. They shake out to a 20% IRR. We’ll return ~1.2x our cash at the sale (after taxes) and were able to do some tax optimization work that helped too.
Interestingly, The Hunting Wives- a popular Netflix show I’ve never seen - was going to film there but the driveway ended up being too narrow.
But the moral of the story is this: do not buy an AirBnB. It’s a pain and the juice is very likely not worth the squeeze.
Much much easier ways to make money.
