Ed Davey was paid £275,000 as a consultant by Herbert Smith Freehills — the same law firm that later represented the Post Office in its legal battles with subpostmasters.
There’s another connection worth noting: Davey’s brother, Henry, was a partner at HSF for around 20 years.
Davey says he only learned from media reports that HSF had acted for the Post Office from 2019.
So we have Ed Davey, a former Post Office minister, earning hundreds of thousands of pounds from HSF, while his own brother was a senior partner at the firm.
Now THAT is what I call "Dirty Money"

This Man must not be allowed to get away with what he did to the Post Office Owners .
He failed to investigate, instead he had innocent people jailed and their lives ruined . He must not be allowed to hide behind the Government wall .

The disrespect shown towards Sir Jim Ratcliffe from some quarters is remarkable.
This is a hugely successful businessman who in 2019 paid an estimated £110 million in tax, making him the 5th biggest taxpayer in Britain.
INEOS, the company he founded, employs around 4,000 people across the UK.
He has built businesses, created jobs and generated enormous economic activity.
Government should be making far greater use of people with that kind of real world business experience.
Parliament already has far too many career politicians such as Zara Sultana who have achieved nothing outside of politics.

Ed Davey’s brother Henry was a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills - the law firm hired by the Post Office to fight subpostmasters.
HSF paid Ed Davey £275k as a consultant.
He claims he didn’t know the firm was involved.
His own brother was a partner there.
How convenient. 🤨

Dale pislamist Vincabad donated a maximum we know of, of £6.3 million to labour! He then received a gross return ratio on his so called donation of 1,746.03% thats about £110 million, not bad for a £6.3 million donation, but yeah labour said he never bought anything from them 😆 🤣 😂

🚨 THE CHIEF ARCHITECT OF MANAGED DECLINE: LOOK AT ED MILIBAND'S CATASTROPHIC RECORD ON BRITAIN!
You honestly have to witness the sheer economic vandalism of Ed Miliband to believe it.
Here is the real trail of destruction this eco zealot has inflicted on Great Britain:
*Promised to cut your family energy bills by 300 pounds, but delivered skyrocketing bills reaching 1,723 pounds a year instead!
*Declared war on North Sea oil and gas, crushing high paying British industrial jobs and leaving us dependent on foreign imports.
*Paved over 21,000 hectares of fertile food producing farmland with black solar panels while British agriculture faces a harvest crisis.
*Promised 860,000 green jobs, only for Labour's own think tanks to admit over 90 percent of those permanent roles were a complete fantasy.
*Chose to pander to fringe climate activists while working class families are forced to ration their heating this winter.
Ed Miliband has never created a single penny of real wealth in his entire life, yet he is allowed to dismantle British energy security with zero accountability.
RT and SHARE this everywhere to expose Ed Miliband's disastrous green crusade! 🇬🇧🔥

A Home Office whistleblower claims that at best 1% of asylum seekers are genuine. He says it is easier for officials to approve claims than reject them.
The system is being gamed.
Britain is our home, not a hotel. A Conservative Government will leave the ECHR and remove those with no right to be here.

Four weeks ago, Andy Burnham promised households “breathing space” on their bills.
Today, the energy price cap is going up 4%, adding another £60 to the typical annual bill.
So much for the breathing space.

Once upon a time, it was Italy’s economy in the doldrums. Today Italy’s borrowing costs are lower than Britain’s. Markets and investors have more confidence in Georgia Meloni’s Italy than in Labour’s Britain.
People wrote Prime Minister @GiorgiaMeloni off, saying she wouldn’t last six months. In 10 days she will be leading the longest-serving government in the history of the Italian Republic. She is a straight-talking, no-nonsense woman who knows what she believes and stands her ground.
She has restored confidence in Italy, brought job creators back and shown what serious centre-right government can achieve. I wanted to understand how she did it, because after Labour, Britain is going to need exactly that kind of resolve and Conservatives are going to deliver it.

This was my motorbike parked in Mum's backyard. I was a 16-year-old builder's apprentice at the time. It was a Honda 50cc. And on Sunday night, I would wash it and then put a gallon of 4-star petrol in, which cost £1.70p ready for an early Monday morning trip to the building site

Lammy's Ministry of Justice chose to challenge this in court.

🚨Angela Rayner’s office destroyed the evidence used to create Labour’s Islamophobia definition.
Every public submission. Deleted.
They say data protection.
It looks like a cover-up.
This is not the first red flag:
• Stacked working group - no real dissenting voices
• Tightly restricted consultation
• Clear conflict of interest on funding
• Final recommendations kept secret
Now the receipts are gone.
Under Section 77 of the FOI Act, deliberately destroying records after a request to prevent disclosure is a criminal offence. Misconduct in public office also exists for serious abuse of trust.
Whether this crosses that line is for investigators to decide. But the pattern is clear: stacked process, secrecy, then deleted evidence.
A definition they want schools, police and organisations to adopt…and we can’t properly examine how it was made.
