i’m already seeing solos claiming that “hudcon is over” just because hudson spoke about parasocial relationships. like, can you seriously be that stupid? 😭 being parasocial is acting like you personally know these people and what happens behind closed doors. some of you have convinced yourselves that hudson and connor secretly hate each other, that their friendship is fake, that their teams are constantly fighting, that one team is trying to sabotage the other’s career, or that one is being forced to interact with the other for publicity. you even blame their management teams whenever something doesn’t fit the narrative you’ve created in your heads. none of you know what conversations they have in private, what decisions their teams make, or what their relationship is actually like outside of what they choose to share. supporting both of them and appreciating their friendship isn’t the problem. inventing feuds, assigning bad intentions to everything, and presenting your assumptions as facts is. and the irony of using hudson speaking about parasocial relationships to push another made-up narrative about him and connor is absolutely ridiculous.
