This is so wise!!!!
If we want to continue progress in science, we must be prepared to acknowledge that the correct description of nature will eventually simply be too complicated for humans to understand. I do not think it is wise to make human understanding a requirement. AI is the way forward.

Interesting point of view
What if many diseases are essentially software bugs in biological systems? Life is information processing ... cells communicate, interpret signals, and regulate themselves. Perhaps the future of medicine isn't just about treating disease, but about debugging biology.

Without a job yes, but without his own meaning of life no
Can a person live without a job?

Aging is about to be cured. Not in the next century. Within the next few decades. I predict that the cure for aging has been found in the year 2035, possibly sooner. I write (and build) about sleep, longevity, and the interconnection between the two. If you want to make it to 2035 and beyond, sleep is your starting point.

A reminder that the hallmarks of aging are hypotheses, not proven facts. They describe processes associated with aging, but for most of them we have very limited causal evidence. We still don't understand the molecular and cellular drivers of human aging. 1/2

Just finished reading "Food Sense; What to Eat and Why", the new book by @GardnerPhD Covers decades of nutrition discoveries, what we know and what we don´t, and finishes with very practical advice (including a number of delicious healthy recipes) Sorely needed!

The global era of Don't Die begins in 2030. New age reversal therapies will emerge and automation will run our lives, removing the biggest blockers of health: discipline and effort. Death acceptance will vanish as fast as body positivity did with GLP-1s.

Hey @easyJet my flight to Berlin was cancelled 4 months ago. I submitted a UK261 compensation claim and provided all the information requested, but I've now had no response or payment for over 2 months. Any chance of an update?

Absolutamente 💯 true!!
“Scientists were wrong before.” Of course. That’s why science contains experiments, replication and correction. Being capable of discovering you’re wrong is a strength, not a flaw.

Longevity isn’t about living forever. It’s about being 70 and still having the strength, hormones, cognition and energy to actually enjoy being alive.

To infinity and beyond!
Claude has discovered a previously unknown enzyme system hidden in the DNA of bacteriophages. Beside the enzyme’s gene sits a long array of repeating DNA—a structure that looks somewhat similar to CRISPR. We don’t yet understand what this system does, but only a handful of known systems share its features, and all of them are able to cut, copy, and paste DNA. Historically, the discovery of such programmable systems has helped revolutionize medicine. CRISPR, for instance, is now the foundation of genetic medicines. But it will take much more work to learn what this system does, and whether it can be put to similar use. Read more: anthropic.com/news/claude-di…
