Last night, I was proud to jam with @RepHuffman and @RepCasten on stage at the @cong_record!
It was a great evening full of appreciation for the arts and recommitment to protecting its presence in our schools for our kids.

The world is a better place with music, art, dance, and theatre. It was a pleasure attending last night’s @cong_record celebrating America’s artistic and cultural heritage. @NVHumanities @NEHgov @NEAarts @smithsonian

From Austin, the Live Music Capital of the World, to Capitol Hill. A rare night in Congress with no hearing—just music. Welcome to new Co-Chair @RepRonEstes.
Thanks to @The_SCL, @SoundExchange, @wearesona_, @MusicArtistsCo, @ASCAP, @NAMM & @a2im for joining us. New Members signed on, and we’ll keep pushing to protect musicians and their work.
And @RepDarrenSoto entertained with a live performance.

Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast was hit hard by #HurricaneHelene. Places there like #TreasureIsland have inspired us for years. Here’s our recent #Astromax @cong_record performance with @RepMaxwellFrost. 🏝️ 🎸 🎶
