Just did 3 calls (1 US rep, 2 US senators) and left voicemails. Took ~10 mins but you could probably it in 5 if you simply follow the script on the site instead of embellishing with personal emphasis.
I don’t like making phone calls but this is too important to delay or avoid. I first contacted my reps a couple years ago but the recent news makes now a great time to flood their phones/inboxes.
No one should be allowed to grow a superintelligence they don’t know how to control. And no one knows how to control a superintelligence.
If anyone builds it, everyone dies.
Ask your representatives to support an international ban on the development of artificial superintelligence.

2) hole 6 mention AI safety treaty w China as his only path to a Nobel Peace Prize
3) hole 16 mention even his biggest haters would love him
4) hole 18 he walks off the course to waiting media and says we need an AI safety treaty w China that bans super intelligence.
This is a very real path.
