The desktop hasn’t changed in 25 years. We lose hours of our lives every day swiping between apps, windows, and messages. And now with AI we have another set of tools to manage. Sign up at intension.us to be one of the first 100 people in our upcoming beta.
A new desktop. Built just for you. Your apps and AI, brought together around what you want to do. Coming soon to macOS.

and what if you could see what your agents were doing from your desktop?

yeah there are some weird things in claude’s training data, but there’s also an excellent sci-fi novelist waiting for a book deal

trying to see how people think about their attention spans do you care about yours? do you think about it like something like sleep (e.g. it can go up and down or be better or worse depending on the day)? it feels like we dont have a shared way to talk about this yet

I want new hardware that no big tech company would ever be incentivized to make. I want a choice over how MY data powers and connects these devices. Proud to be supporting @lizwandersworld and the @eraworlds team as they open the door to a new ecosystem.
Today we're launching Era and announcing $11M in funding. We're building the intelligence layer for a new ecosystem of AI devices — the platform that lets any device manufacturer, brand, designer, or creator make objects that think, respond, and act in their own style. We're entering a Cambrian explosion — new form factors, new creators, new objects worth desiring. Made by people who've never had the tools to make them, before today. Welcome to the new Era. Backed by @AbstractVC, @BoxGroup, @topology_vc, @betaworks, @CollaborativeFund, @MozillaVentures, and @AIResidency.

For the past year and a half, I’ve been wrapping my head around what I think is one of the big unanswered questions of our time; what is happening to our attention? What you pay attention to is how you experience life. And right now, you’re experiencing life on the algorithms terms, not yours. I think we’re on the cusp of a revolution to reclaim our attention and agency. The technology, market, and timing are finally aligned. Attention is all you need. open.substack.com/pub/intens…

today was my last day at Humane. Bethany and Imran's mission to improve our relationship with technology is an important and timely one; I'm rooting for them and the rest of the very talented team there. witnessing the birth of a new generation of hardware first-hand has been an incredible experience. if you're working on something interesting in the consumer space (especially hardware/AI), let's talk

All these registrations came through a platform designed by @uptousnow_. Super proud of this accomplishment and the team @HeadCountOrg who have been working with creators and artists to get their audiences ready to vote an extra thank you to @galeo_00 who led design on the flow

This was the night we started deliveries of Model 3. After the party, I was chatting with the exec responsible for scaling up production and he said it would be the hardest thing Tesla had ever tried. “we’ll build 100 a week, then 1k, then 10k, it’s just going to take time” 1/n
[THREAD] Tesla’s original California factory has achieved a brag-worthy title: the most productive auto plant in North America. And Elon Musk is just getting started ↓ trib.al/XhVLBl1

11 months later, production wasn’t going well, we could only make a few hundred cars per week and it seemed like everyone was betting against Tesla. We got creative and built a new production line in a tent that allowed us to start to hit our delivery goals. 2/n

And now Tesla is the most productive automaker on the continent. I assumed this would happen but it’s a bit surreal for it to be official after so much time with the odds stacked so high against us. Proud of all the people who made this happen!
