The one strolling is a cold-blooded murderer, the other on cuffs is a rights activist who tried to expose corruption in his book. In Nigeria, the lady of justice is not blindfolded. She sees with one left eye. 😂😂 #Nigeria | Olu Jacobs | queen Dami #OPMFreeSchool #EndSARS

The Margin in Osun Victory Is a Bit Worrisome The narrow margin in the Osun victory is, to me, a little worrisome. In Nigerian politics, whenever an incumbent party concedes an election defeat by a very slim margin, it is often wise not to assume that the battle is over. A narrow margin can provide considerable room for a prolonged legal contest, particularly where there are disputes over results, procedures or electoral compliance. This is why Adeleke and his supporters should not become complacent in celebration of this victory. If history is anything to go by, the real battle over the Osun mandate could move from the polling units to the courtroom. We have seen this play out too many times and it demands serious preparations by the declared winner. My advice to Governor Adeleke and Davido, therefore, is to start assembling their strongest legal team now. The months ahead could be long, intense and legally demanding. Because, at this point, this victory feels less like the end of the battle and more like a Trojan horse-something that may look like a victory today but could conceal another battle within it. As always, in my cliche words, I pray that Osun people are the true winners in the end. Comrade Phils 16th August, 2026.

One thing I have learnt from this Psquare's saga is to never adjudge any matter until I hear the very last of it. Now, I don't even know who to blame, because we do not know when Jude's rebuttal, if any, would come. Perhaps, we will all just wait for the verdict of the court. As the court pleases, mi lord, in advance. 😂

Peller was warned that bigamy attracts upto 5 years imprisonment by the marriage registrar during his court marriage with Jarvis. Dude got so confused and asked "wetin concern prison for love?" I seriously pray everything works out well for both of them, so he does not wake up someday in future to discover that falling from a skyscraper to hit your head on the floor with only stars around your head, with no serious injuries, can only happen on Cartoon Network, not in real life. 😂

I admire Tyla as an artist, and this isn't personal. But sometimes, peaceful civic action is one of the few ways ordinary people can express their dissatisfaction with the actions of a government. History shows that consumer choices and public boycotts have often been powerful tools for driving change. In the late 18th century, thousands of British families participated in the famous sugar boycott, refusing to buy sugar produced through enslaved labour. Their collective action helped build momentum for the abolitionist movement and increased pressure to end the transatlantic slave trade. We've seen similar approaches in more recent times. The Montgomery Bus Boycott became a defining moment in the American civil rights movement. Around the world, sporting, cultural, and economic boycotts also played a role in increasing international pressure against apartheid in South Africa. The idea is simple: when public figures, brands, and entertainment events are affected by government actions or policies, it creates incentives for influential voices to engage, advocate, or encourage positive change. That is why some Nigerians believe boycotting Tyla's show is not about attacking her personally or questioning her talent. It is about using a peaceful, non-violent means to send a message to the South African government over issues many Nigerians feel have not been adequately addressed. Whether one agrees with the boycott or not, civil resistance has long been recognised as a legitimate form of democratic expression when carried out peacefully and respectfully. The hope should always be that dialogue, accountability, and better relations between both countries emerge from such actions—not hostility toward any individual artist. Comrade Phils.

I hope this is by no way the legendary Hanks? If he is, then it is a very sad situation and a slap on the Nollywood industry if it could ignore one of its best and allow him rot this way. #HanksAnuku #nollywood

PRESS STATEMENT The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) wishes to inform the general public that our party primaries are scheduled to hold tomorrow, 29th May 2026. It is therefore impossible and illogical for any primary results or winners to have emerged when the primaries are yet to take place. We strongly urge the public and all well-meaning Nigerians to completely disregard the fake NDC primary results and false rumours currently circulating. Any result that does not emanate from official party sources should be disregarded. NDC remains committed to a transparent and credible primary process. We appeal to all our supporters and registered members to stay vigilant and ignore any unverified information. Thank you. Signed: Barrister Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu National Secretary

NDC has raised the bar... The party has decided that all those who purchased expression of interest forms will be allowed to participate in the primaries in their various locality. After which only those who are successful will now move forward to pay for the nomination forms and complete other documentations. Peter Obi, Seriake Dickson are special breeds. If you truly love this country, there is no other party you should be than the NDC. Nigeria must be OK.✅

These figures are intentionally inflated ahead of the 2027 rigging plot. We all saw how they jumped from 10 to 40 and to 200, then 500 etc during their selective primaries. They are going to rig with the same range of numbers. Hence, they are preparing your minds now so that when they rig in 2027, they will tell you how the same number of persons voted for Tinubu in the primaries. Be aware and prepare for the worst under this government.

Fulani terrorists continue to devastate communities in Nigeria. Homes are being destroyed, villages emptied, and countless families left in fear and mourning. Children are crying beside the bodies of loved ones, while many mothers go to sleep uncertain of what the next day may bring. 💔 We are deeply grateful to everyone who has continued to pray, support, and donate during this painful time. Your kindness is bringing hope, relief, and help to many affected families. For those who still wish to support, we humbly ask you to stand with us. More help is urgently needed for widows, orphans, displaced families, food, shelter, and medical care. Every contribution goes a long way. 🙏 UBA – 2388744899 – DACHOMO EZEKIEL
