Skills Rather than Just a Degree It’s as it is, but never as it’s supposed to be. Even before the renowned Sheikh, @ProfIsaPantami published his promising book titled “Skills Rather than Just a Degree,” many Nigerians, especially the youth, already worked with this belief. – at Zaria, Nigeria

These dudes are scare of his potential. He's known to be an intelligent person. The current guy in Kaduna State fears him like no tomorrow. He knew deep down, if Elrufai is still out, then he give him a tough time in the coming election. Nevertheless, it's still gonna be tough!
They’ve arrested Elrufai They’ve detained Elrufai They’ve kept him in CUSTODY almost a year They’ve taken away his FREEDOM & rights They’ve distanced him from POLITICS & family They’ve distanced him from business & studies They’ve silenced a great & a powerful LEADER WHAT DO THEY WANT WITH MALAM ELRUFAI??

I have disagreed with El-Rufai on many issues in the past, but this looks like political persecution through the courts. He has been granted bail, yet the conditions are so stringent that it still feels punitive. — El Rufai

Here is the Commander of Special Task Force, Operation Safe Haven, Maj. Gen. Chukwuemeka C. Okonkwo, talking about the problem in Southern Kaduna, when Mallam was Governor. Chukwuemeka is neither a Fulani man, nor is he a Muslim from the North. He said the crisis of Southern Kaduna, is attacks and reprisal attacks and we all know how that started by the very person that is idolized now in SK, Zamani Lekwot, He was arrested, prosecuted and convicted for the crime in 1992, but was later pardoned.

ERSGA PRESS STATEMENT (For Immediate Release) UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT OF THE MINISTER OF DEFENCE REGARDING MALLAM NASIR AHMAD EL-RUFAI The El-Rufai Support Group Association (ERSGA), like many other Nigerians and Mallam Nasir El-Rufai's supporters, has taken due congnizance of the shocking and irresponsible conduct of the Minister of Defence during his recent outing on Channels television. His conduct, exemplified by his ungarded utteraces, which are totally beneath the sensitive national office he occupies and which are unexpected of a leader of his stature featured many lies and unsubstantiated allegations against the person of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, all of which border on defamation. It is particularly shocking that a retired General, former Chief of Defence Staff, and serving Minister of Defence of the Federal Republic of Nigeria would go on national television to say that HE Mallam Nasir El-Rufai said that he "paid bandits". That is a totally fabricated and severally factually debunked street talk. Mallam El-Rufai never made such a statement, neither did he or his administration ever pay bandits or indeed any other violent group(s) - either as an individual or while serving as Governor of Kaduna State. On the contrary, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has maintained - in and out of office - that he would never negotiate with or pay bandits and that he never did, and no one has ever contradicted that claim. Indeed, Mallam El-Rufai had accused the current administration of "cheesing bandits", in reference to the so-called 'non-kinetic' approach to insecurity which had essentially unravelled all the efforts he made as Governor in collaboration with multiple security agencies, including the military, to address the agelong and recurrent insecurity in Kaduna state, particularly Southern Kaduna. Furthermore, for a serving federal Minister of Defence to go on national television and allege - without any proof whatsoever - that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai "deliberately planned to kill our (Southern Kaduna) people" is ethnic/clannish jingoism and divisive politics taken irresponsibly and dangerously too far. We consider the Minister's overall conduct and utterances totally irresponsible, unacceptable, intentionally malicious, damaging to the hard earned reputation of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, and a threat to peace and security - not only in Kaduna state, but the nation in general. We therefore totally understand and identify with the widespread outrage being expressed by Nigerians across all divides over the disgraceful conduct of the honorable Minister. ERGSA has therefore directed its lawyers to take appropriate and necessary urgent actions with a view to addressing the totally unacceptable misconduct of the honorable Minister of Defence as relates to Mallam Nasir El-Rufai CON. We thank you for your support and for your restraint on this matter. Man, this isn’t a joke, especially when you consider the combination of skills you’ve acquired during your studies. What makes you stand out isn’t just being the best graduating student, but also being a skilled person. That’s rare. I wish you all the best in your future endeav.
Seven months ago, one of the biggest moment of my life happened. I was awarded as the Overall Best Graduating Student of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria at the 45th convocation ceremony, graduating with a CGPA of 4.92/5.00. I have been reflecting on the journey so far. So today, let me reintroduce myself. I am Ayodele Joseph Babalola, an indigene of Ekiti State, Nigeria, a First Class graduate of Computer Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Overall Best Graduating Student (2024/2025 session), a Full-Stack Software Developer, and a Data Science/Data Engineering & AI enthusiast. By God's grace, that journey came with a few milestones I'm deeply grateful for: 🏆 Overall Best Graduating Student — Ahmadu Bello University. 🏆 Faculty Best Graduating Student — Faculty of Physical Science. 🏆 Departmental Best Graduating Student — Computer Science. 🎖️ Recipient of the Sunbeth Excellence Partnership Program (SEPP) Award for academic distinction. But beyond the awards and CGPA, the journey taught me something even more valuable: discipline beats motivation, consistency compounds, and purpose gives direction. I entered ABU with the goal of graduating with a First Class. I never imagined I would finish as the university's overall best graduating student. Six years, a COVID lockdown, ASUU strikes, difficult semesters, moments of doubts, and countless late nights later, God turned what started as a simple goal into a testimony. Yet, God had a different ending. #ABUZaria #BestGraduatingStudent #ComputerScience #Tech

🚨 BREAKING NEWS! The engineer who created Claude Code from scratch just released a 28-minute video that's pure gold: how to write prompts that actually deliver ridiculously good results. I've seen $300 courses that don't even come close to what he explains in the first 10 minutes. CLAUDE.md files, memory shortcuts, parallel sessions, and prompting patterns that almost no one uses... All in one single video. Completely free. No fluff. Whether you're a developer, just starting out, or already been using Claude for months: this changes the game for you starting today. Save. Watch. I applied for this program back in 2025 with ID: 444814, but I couldn't finish my application because I hadn't completed my undergrad studies and didn't have all the necessary documents. Even though things didn’t work out that time, I kept my focus on my goals and didn’t give up.

Press Release: El-Rufai issues public alert. Malam Nasir El-Rufai wishes to alert the public to certain malicious orchestrations directed against him. The unwarranted effort to arrest him upon his arrival at Abuja Airport from Cairo on 12 February 2026 served as a clear signal of more troubling developments to follow. On 16 February 2026, Malam El-Rufai honoured an invitation from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He was detained, then transferred to the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on the night of 18 February. He remains in detention and has been arraigned in two separate high courts. On 18 April 2026, The Nation newspaper published a report headlined “El-Rufai’s trial: Gunmen invade principal witness home.” The article stated that Mohammed Umar Karage, a witness in the criminal proceedings at the Kaduna State High Court, had reported to the police that armed individuals had invaded his residence. While it is the civic duty of every citizen to report crimes to the authorities, it is an entirely different matter to publish false imputations against others. The Nation proceeded to do precisely that by including innuendos suggestive of a plot to frame Malam Nasir El-Rufai. According to the report, Mr. Karage linked the incident to his role as a witness in the corruption charges against El-Rufai—specifically one of the nine counts involving the alleged unlawful revocation and reallocation of land. The article further quoted Mr. Karage as alleging that the invasion might be part of an effort to silence him, drawing parallels with the controversial disappearance of Kaduna-based activist Abubakar Idris Dadiyata. Any objective reader would recognise the clear intent behind these statements: to smear Malam Nasir El-Rufai’s reputation, jeopardise his pending bail application at the Kaduna State High Court, and implicate him in serious capital offences. The evident objective is to secure his indefinite detention through these reprehensible tactics. Such conduct is unacceptable, particularly toward a citizen who has made substantial contributions to our country. Malam Nasir El-Rufai is an upstanding and law-abiding citizen who has no connection whatsoever to the incidents described in The Nation’s publication. Therefore, he has already instructed his legal team to initiate defamation proceedings in this matter. Since 2023, Malam El-Rufai has been subjected to an appalling and sustained campaign of innuendos and vilification. This is a man with a distinguished record of public service. Many will recall his sterling service to the cause of national unity through his principled opposition to opportunism, alongside other senior leaders, during the events leading to the 2022 primaries of the ruling party and thereafter. The rule of law must never be perverted into a tool of oppression. Legal processes should serve the ends of justice, not be employed to deny a citizen his fundamental right to liberty while he stands trial. Malam Nasir El-Rufai should be accorded full due process guaranteed by law to every citizen, and the persistent disregard for his rights must cease immediately. Signed Muyiwa Adekeye Media Adviser to Malam Nasir El-Rufai 19 April 2026
