ALT **we've now launched a Mastodon server!** - https://privex.social for those not aware, Mastodon is an open source + decentralised + federated social media platform similar to Twitter, it's quite mature at this point, I've been experimenting with it over the past few days and it's actually a very good Twitter replacement you can sign up on any instance of your choice, or run your own - and you'll be able to interact with users on both your local instance and other instances **why use our instance?** - as we're a privacy company, we won't snoop on your DMs, and we won't share any of your account information with law enforcement or other parties trying to investigate you (apart from in extreme circumstances such as terrorism or child pornography). we also have generally lax rules, probably the only posts that we'll moderate are spam and direct harassment (i.e. going directly to someone's profile and causing problems for them in DMs / replies)
