Americans condemning the protests happening in France and other countries and then turn around and cry about how they can’t afford groceries

Sorry, all Americans can offer are useless marches/parades that threaten exactly zero power structures. It makes them feel like they’re doing something though, and that’s what’s really important! [qrt]
Protesters in Paris have broken through Police blockades and are about to reach the Élysée Palace, the French equivalent of the White House.

School quality, tuition costs, and healthcare costs are way worse in the US but you don’t see us burning down historical buildings. When will the French learn there’s such a thing as a nonviolent general strike?

I will once again point out that Vice President is one of the very few positions in the entire executive branch that the President cannot fire. Kamala Harris could've screamed about Gaza from the literal rooftops of the White House if she had cared about saving people's lives.
Kamala Harris says her and Biden’s administration should have acted “sooner and more forcefully” regarding Israel’s attack on Gaza — and that the Trump administration “offers Netanyahu a blank check”: “America has at times fallen short on [moral obligation to human rights and international law]. Most recently, the failure to use our leverage to curtail the Israeli government's horrific conduct in the war in Gaza, both under the current administration, which offers Netanyahu a blank check, and our administration before, where we should have acted sooner and more forcefully.”

1) doesn’t call it a genocide 2) says her administration should have acted sooner… um yall didn’t act at all
Kamala Harris on Israel: It is in our interest to hold our allies accountable for their share of global defense, to ensure trade benefits American workers and consumers, and to uphold our moral obligation to human rights and international law. To be sure, America has at times fallen short on that one. Most recently, the failure to use our leverage to curtail the Israeli government's horrific conduct in the war in Gaza, both under the current administration, which offers Netanyahu a blank check, and our administration before, where we should have acted sooner and more forcefully.

i wish i was as delusional as these ppl. my life would be so much easier
People are clearly too dumb to realize that Harris couldn’t say this during the Biden admin because they were negotiating with Israel to get them to stop bombing Gaza and if Harris had said “when I’m president we’re not giving aid to Israel” bibi wouldn’t want to negotiate.
