For those of us who grew up playing Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger in the 90s, seeing Squadron 42 today brings back some incredible memories.
Back then, Wing Commander III felt like the future of gaming. The cinematic storytelling, Hollywood actors, full-motion video, and those unforgettable space battles made it something truly special. It was one of those games that made you realize just how far PC gaming had come.
Now, over 30 years later, Chris Roberts is bringing that same ambition to a whole new generation with Squadron 42.
Technology has come a long way, but there's something about those old Wing Commander days that will always be special.
From Wing Commander III to Squadron 42. What a journey for those of us who have been here since the beginning.
@RobertsSpaceInd
It was such a pleasure to finally meet @GeoffZanelli (composer for #squadron42) and tell him as we liked so much his music we heard during the test. Can’t wait for the others tracks.
The sound ambiant is so amazing!
