Issue #1 of #CriticalRole: The Tales of Exandria II–Artagan is out! This is my first industry-published title, and I'm so proud of it. And it's genuinely SUCH good Arty shenanigans!
Story: @SamMaggs
Art: me!
Colours: Cris Peter
Letters: @CommentAiry
Cover: @tobyjamessharp
ALT Critical Role: The Tales of Exandria II–Artagan issue #1 cover, showing a glorious Artagan looking glorious.
ALT Page 1, showing bits and pieces of Artagan with some flowy robes (and a goatee) addressing an unknown audience at a beach
ALT Page 2, a splash showing Artagan fully against the sea, mid-speech, standing in the middle of a ring of driftwood bits, using one as a sort of podium
ALT Page 3, a reverse shot seeing the big (biiiig) audience he's addressing, who are cheering excitedly. Sugary words of adoration are exchanged between him and the crowd.

Stupendously excited to be illustrating this chaotic fey journey, alongside such a great team. Artagan is one of my favourite NPCs, and it is an honour and an undiluted joy to be playing with him.
Thank you @CriticalRole, @DarkHorseComics & @SpookyBoberts for the opportunity!
On theme…

Poke fun at the potential Deadpool cameos all you want.
But if these two pop up in the movie? Exactly 4 people in the theater will lose their minds.

and finally, a shout-out to the two comics shops that @slicedfriedgold mentioned as having an excellent selection of manga + sales staff who can offer thoughtful recommendations: @TheBigBang_ Comics in Dublin, IR and @comikaza in Tel Aviv + my fave, @TheBeguiling in Toronto

our yearly top selling 25 trades/graphic novel list for 2022 is here and it was a very strong one for Manga titles...
in #25 Alice in Borderland Vol 01
for the obvious reasons Chainsaw Man dominated our chart this year with 6 spots and 2023 wont be any different if only those new printings will be coming out regulary
