David is the father of Todd Beamer, the hero on United flight 93 on September 11th that said “Let’s roll,” and along with his fellow passengers, prevented the plane from hitting its intended target, and saved many lives.
David said, “His faith and our faith is what has enabled us to carry on for now…”

Indiana went 16-0 and won the national title last season, then started this one 6-0. Today they lost a 4-point game to Ohio State. That is a real football team.
Meanwhile, Saturday in the SEC:
Alabama lost 26-10 at Tennessee. That's loss number two.
Texas lost at home to Florida, two weeks after losing to unranked Oklahoma. 4-2.
Georgia lost at home to Auburn.
And watch, none of them will fall the way a Big Ten team would. Last week Alabama lost at home to Georgia and didn't move a single spot in the AP poll. Ohio State lost by one point on the road at No. 4 Texas and dropped five spots.
The SEC put a record 11 teams in the AP poll to start last season. Even Joel Klatt said the playoff committee will always lean SEC because it rewards "wins over ranked teams," and voters keep handing out the rankings.
Rank teams by what they do on the field, not the logo. Indiana has earned it. Alabama, Texas and Georgia haven't. #SECBias
