Fifteen years ago today… 12 volunteers and 23 walkers & runners gathered in the park… and at 9am that Saturday Colwick parkrun was born ❤️
Since then we have delivered 702 events for 25,090 individual finishers and recorded 180,368 finish times, and 1,651 individuals have volunteered 13,972 times.
Over the years we have seen our community grow and we have gained some and lost some along the way… as is life ❤️💔

A big shout out to Mark who ran a double tropical fruit PB in the pouring rain. Not only was he dressed as a banana, he also was carrying a banana. I think that's a Colwick first!
