Thanks to @jessops customer service person who got back to me, urgently need to talk to someone at @DPD_UK_Helpline
Under the Consumer Rights Act, @Jessops are responsible for getting the item to me, not the courier. The investigation with DPD should run alongside a replacement, not instead of one. I can’t wait 6–8 weeks. This delay is unfair and damaging my ability to work.
