goodnight, peter. the father of us all, the greatest of the age, and a legacy, now, for all time. i am so grateful to have known you & for your wit & love & guidance. you found such joy & wisdom in so many empty spaces: & in the loneliness of an artist's restless, endless search.

I produced this series through a pandemic, without childcare, while processing anger, grief and trauma with 100+ other BIPOC creatives and yet the only word I can use to describe it all is JOY. Thank you @obsidiantheatre
@CBCArts @TheCdnAcademy for this Best Series win 🏆

#InternationalWomensDay is not for celebrating. It is for protesting against and raising awareness about the fact that people are still being oppressed or treated differently because of their gender.

A piece I’ve written for @macleans about the last few days. For my fellow Ukrainian-Canadians. For Ukraine and Ukrainians. For anyone caring from afar, trying to make sense of senselessness. Thank you @sarah_fulford for inviting me to write my heartache. macleans.ca/news/canada/my-l…

We’ve already emitted 89% of the CO2 budget that gives us a 66% chance of staying below 1,5°C. That’s why historic emissions not only count - they nearly make up the entire climate crisis. And yet they’re still being almost completely ignored by media and people in power.

"None of the world's major economies - including the entire G20 - have a climate plan that meets their obligations under the 2015 Paris Agreement"
This is of course excluding huge parts of our emissions and aspect of equity. Not even then are we on track.
