"...I think I'll show myself out, actually." Enough of that idea that the other can probably hear her feet hit the ground and move towards ditching Constance. If she wishes to entertain herself, may need to fix /that/ issue real quick.

"I... don't remember agreeing to that." It's moreso just her pushing her agenda and Byleth not fighting it. Which in turn just probably gets her to do MORE stuff... Oh well!

"No more spells - I thought we'd agreed on keeping things normal." Almost immediately she's gone to sit up. Who knows what Constance is cooking up, to be so casual about making it obvious.

"I agreed to one and it got botched, clearly..." Why does she feel like 'one' is going to turn into a very long stay. At least it means Constance gets to have fun. At the Archbishop's expense, of course.

"You don't need to be condescending." A small smack of the hand to get her to cut it out. Stuff's slowly unjumbling itself, just not in a good way for being normal. "Pretty sure I have other things to attend to... Can't sit here all day."

"Archbishop... I don't really remember taking on all of that." Though the gaslighting is helping force some memories in at least. Give it a bit and she'd never know something was very backwards...

"Things do feel... very normal. What did you do—?" She just automatically assumes something else got cast, because— she isn't sure why... "Actually, no. What do you mean normal?" In her poor brain, nothing was wrong.

"I already have it all worked out..." Something still doesn't feel right. But she winds up laying down anyway, if nothing else just to not annoy Constance. Obviously not too important, whatever she's misremembering.

she rolled her eyes, sensing that the professor was still lagging behind. “byleth— lie down on the table and get a grip of yourself!” she patted next to the one she was sitting on. “you’ll get eaten alive out there without your senses.”

i’ll be gentle. turn your head a little, show a little neck— ( she stepped an inch closer. )

constance seemed to be adjusting quicker than the other, so she kept a close eye for now. she did wonder what her immediate plans were, or if she needed time to orient.

“foolish, foolish girl.. the consequences won’t be too worrisome, hopefully. a lot of people will look to you for advice. will you guide them well, or will you be overtaken by whichever distractions?” +

“sneak off to do what? you really should be more upfront about these potentially irreversible escapades! well, i guess i will just have to show you how to live your own life. by example.” constance saw byleth in distress and gave some condescending head pats.

“oh sure i’ll fix it. but only after you learned your lesson, which i assume will be real soon. so go on and carry out your little perverted scheme!“ 💢

it will be more and more difficult at this rate. constance shrugged off the idea of fixing it. she figured she would just spend some time like this and see what happens. for some reason she wasn’t so worried of the consequences. +

“i didn’t say i was… hmph.” she scoffed feeling more peeved about it than she usually would have been. she took a step towards a counter and held onto it, eventually taking a seat on it. “try and enjoy it. ugh.” byleth picked up the tome and distracted herself with reading.
