Idk if gormint realizes the LTCG collections are high despite capgains+stt hikes because those hikes have triggered long term sellers to exit Indian holdings. Once those funds gone those taxes are not going to repeat. The high tax collection is a bad sign.

Imagine if we had no liquidity. Our market would be sitting at 50% low. Just for context FII sold 4-5x from Nifty high recently than they sold in 2008. In 2008 Nifty fell 50-60% and now Hardly 15-17%. But why FII selling so much, she may have no answer to that.

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that too much liquidity and easy entry exit is causing Indian stock market to underperform. As far as I know her, she will use this senseless argument to introduce a locking period in equity investment and increase STCG to 40% to prevent people from withdrawing their money for market.

Niva Bupa cancelled a colon cancer patient’s health policy, citing a heart blockage. The patient said the condition had already been disclosed. Then, when he took the dispute to a consumer commission, the insurer’s grievance team and the hospital did not appear to defend the case. The man was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2025. His complaint described cancelled cover, refused expenses and disputed hospital charges across multiple admissions. He said the medical reports relied on to question his cover had been shared before purchase. The Gurgaon commission decided the case on the evidence before it, which remained unchallenged by the absent parties. It ordered the opposite parties to jointly refund ₹11.63 lakh with 9% interest, plus ₹50,000 compensation and ₹22,000 litigation costs. It also directed continuation of the policy until its natural expiry. The patient had to answer questions about his medical history while undergoing cancer treatment. When it was time to answer his complaint, the institutions he challenged didn’t turn up.

You think your bank account is safe because your phone has Face ID and a complex passcode. It is an absolute illusion. If your phone gets stolen today, thieves just pop out your SIM card and put it in a ₹500 basic phone and dial *99# (India’s offline USSD banking code). All this without unlocking your phone. From there, they request a UPI PIN reset, receive the OTP on your stolen SIM and drain your bank account in 2 minutes. Your expensive phone lock is useless if your SIM card is unlocked. Enable a SIM PIN lock right now: • iPhone: Settings > Mobile service > SIMs > SIM PIN > Turn on • Android: Settings > Security > More security settings > SIM card lock > Turn on The default PIN is almost always 1234 or 0000. Change it immediately. Do not guess it more than 3 times or your SIM will lock and require a PUK code from your operator. Stop relying on screen locks. Secure your actual network and if your phone is ever stolen then block the SIM before you even try to block the bank account.

Renault should market 1800 cc more than anything else to a common customer. Second should be 29 kmpl Put these posters everywhere. Common customer understand only CC Don’t over explain torque or BHP. Simply say this car has double power and double fuel efficiency than the competition. They don’t know what they have in their hands!

Utterly irresponsible statement, it’s because of domestic liquidity that the markets are at 23K, else Nifty would be under 18K. Totally reverse of what you’re saying madam

When Europe was debating four-day workweek, China was building its manufacturing muscle and technological capabilities. When Europe was promoting 6 hours a day office time, China was working 12 hours a day om robotics, AI, drones, advanced manufacturing and scientific research. When Europe was questioning inclusion, China was strengthening its industrial base, developing military capabilities and preparing its population for a technology-driven world. When Europe was organising pride march, China was upskilling its population to win Olympics, Nobel and Wars You may like it or not, but in a few decades, China will have created wealth for its population, preserved the culture of its ancestors, and built the defence capabilities to protect its people. Europe, meanwhile, will be overtaken by immigrants, its centuries-old buildings and libraries will be destroyed, and its native population will be at the mercy of others.

Tiger Shroff firing incident made me read about the new Indian mafia. Newer northwestern-Indian Mafia pose a different investigative problem to older Mumbai Mafia: they recruit unemployed young men with no previous shooting experience to carry out attacks. These expendable young recruits deal only with middlemen and have little knowledge of who finances or authorises the violence. So arresting them has very little impact and leaves the organisation intact. The gunmen go to prison, while recruiters, handlers and masterminds remain free to arrange the next attack. This is what invariably happens with Bishnoi gang. The shooters are caught but the financers and organisers are not.

The Land acquisition act was scorched earth by the Congress. They knew they were losing so they made the act to make manufacturing growth impossible and Modi can't remove it or the dehati biomass will revolt.

Actually Dreze’s crackpot idea is one of the main reasons why manufacturing faces difficulty in the country. In 2013 the Land Acquisition Act made acquiring land 4 times more expensive. Which makes it difficult for us to compete with peers. Modi tried to undo it but failed
"Pushed manufacturing"? Yea right, I guess the 2014 Make in India promise of 25% share of manufacturing in GDP was achieved. No? Yea, because it actually went down. Decade of PLI, make in India, lion logos - and share has still decreased lmao. Also please, comparing Sanyal to Jean Dreze is like comparing a WhatsApp forward with a peer-reviewed article. Sanyal doesn't have the qualification, aptitude, or moral integrity to be compared to Dreze. At best, Sanyal is a fiction writer - AT BEST.

This is the kind of hit back India must also give. Just imagine if MEA quotes some France24 post on India protests now with the message "ST*U! Watch your backyard first." We can be assured of hundreds of thousands of likes. The hit will be brutal for the media. But they won't. They will write a long diplomatic article after 100 hitjobs on India by foreign actors, that too if people push them to.

My aunt (his sister) was trying to find a relationship for a long time too and struggling. She went on a blind date once but had a giant hairy mole on her face and the guy asked her why she doesn’t just shave it off. She wrote about it in a Christmas card sent to the whole family
My uncle has to be one of the original incels. He’s 60, short, and been balding since I’ve know him. He likely has level 1 autism and never married or even had a gf. A few years ago he paid hundreds of dollars to get fake hair sewn onto his head and it doesn’t look real at all

Five series of Clarkson's Farm, and the same thing happened every year without anyone pointing it out. The wheat drowned in the wettest autumn on record. The sheep stood in the rain and lambed. The oilseed rape was eaten by flea beetle before it came up. The cows ate the grass that grew where the rape had failed. The potatoes rotted in a shed he could not sell them from. The pigs ate the potatoes. The wasabi, the chillies, the mushrooms in the bunker and the nettle soup made a few hundred pounds between them. The venison off the wood paid for the stalker and then some. The barley came in late, light and under the price it cost to grow, and the brewery took it at a discount. The beef off the same acres went out of the farm shop at a price people queued down the lane for. The arable half needed a two hundred thousand pound tractor, a man to drive it, a contractor to combine it, diesel, sprays, seed and a prayer to the sky. The grass half needed a fence and an animal. The one thing on that farm that failed every single year was the part a government leaflet tells you Britain should be growing more of. The one thing that never once failed was the part you are told the planet cannot afford. Five years of evidence, a thousand acres, the best advice in the county, and a camera crew to record it. The verdict was the same as every hill farmer's since the Domesday Book. On land like that, the animal is the only thing that works.
