We are hiring for our growing RL Environments team at Cohere. We build replicas of real-world enterprise setups across many industries, put our AI agents in them and watch the agents train and improve.
If you know anyone excited to work at the intersection of RL x Data x Engineering, send them our way! Or if that's you, join us: jobs.ashbyhq.com/cohere/dc52…

Cohere is absolutely thrilled to welcome Aisle to Cohere. Aisle is the state-of-the-art in defensive cyber, having found 200+ High/Critical CVEs in critical software like curl, FFmpeg, FreeBSD, Wireshark.
Some thoughts below on why this is significant..

Our partnership with @cohere is built on a shared ambition to push the boundaries of what's possible.
By unlocking knowledge through enterprise AI, we're empowering our teams to make better decisions and focus on higher-value work, in an environment where every second counts - every second of the day.

turns out you can get frontier performance by having a swarm of tiny models working on the problem together.
great work from the research team on this one :)

Satya is spot on. The interesting engineering problem isn’t just making models behave, it’s building systems that don’t need to trust them in the first place.
We’re working on some pretty fun problems @cohere. From detecting intent drift across long-running agent sessions, correlating eBPF runtime telemetry with agent actions, capability-scoped identities and enforcing security boundaries below the harness.
Lots of interesting work at the intersection of systems engineering, security, and AI.
We’re hiring engineers who want to build this stuff :)

I'm at COLM in SF this week! I work on agentic code gen at @cohere. If you want to talk about training code agents, DM me.
Our team is also hiring: jobs.ashbyhq.com/cohere/70a8…

Cohere is hosting an X Live this Thursday to discuss all things search & retrieval, including our recent model releases, latest research output, and what's planned for the rest of the year.
It's a chance for our community to hear first-hand from Cohere's engineers and ask questions. If it goes well, we'll do more.
Make sure to add it to your calendar: cohere.com/register/rcp-ndcg…

thank god for embed5. somehow Cohere is really good at not looking at your data while being the best at indexing it
The Cohere Embeddings team has been cooking 🍳
Several key innovations in the model:
- The model not only retrieves relevant results, but finds the most human preferred documents based on new training & evaluation techniques.
- Strong focus on multilinguality 🇺🇳 - just retrieving English docs is boring
- Massive throughput gains - scale to any data size
Together with a strong focus on privacy - your data stays private, always.

The idea that two or three Silicon Valley companies should act as the creator, gatekeeper, and rulemaker of AI for every government on earth doesn't survive being said out loud. cohere.com/blog/who-gets-to-…

My freedom. My focus. My practice. If you don’t enjoy what you’re doing, it’s not worth trying to excel at it.
@Cohere keeps it that way.

AI companies like @cohere build on both sides of the token economy: the models and the products that use them.
By moving production workloads to NVIDIA Blackwell, Cohere lowered token costs, increased throughput, and cut time to first token by 30–50% on many workloads.

As agents begin to do work, we want them to empower you to do more of what you love and less of what you don’t.
Really enjoyed collaborating with @MagnusCarlsen @SRNA_LI and Jonas Niedermüller on this.

Technology is only good if it empowers you.
If it locks you down, saps your attention, or steals your ideas, then it should be discarded.
LLMs could go either way. That's why we are dedicated to open, sovereign, and empowering AI.

Parsing turns out to be one of the biggest bottlenecks to LLMs being able to make effective use of enterprise data. Previously, you had to choose between high-quality understanding that is unscalable and costs $$$ or shit quality lossy-parsing that is scalable. NOT ANYMORE
