𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫🏆 Forever striving 2 adopt a philosophy in which '𝘯𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥' & '𝘯𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵'. We're grateful 2 all the young people, families & partners who have helped create COG's inclusive culture

Well done to our Cog riders representing us this weekend at the Brits 2026, you should all be proud of your achievements

As the summer comes to an end, we wanted to share some of what young people at COG have been doing. They’ve been learning how to repair donated second-hand bikes. Once each bike has been repaired, we pass it on to a good cause that can help it reach a child who needs one.

Parents sorry due to last minute sickness Cog will not be running today 😞

Due to the extreme weather we are unfortunately unable to run Cog this weekend, keep cool 😎

Brilliant week working with schools and services. Now its time for our weekend community sessions and young BMX racers to continue to shine. Suggested donation of £2, bikes, helmet & coaching provided.  cogcycling.co.uk for more details.

No community sessions this weekend. Good luck to all riders at the nationals! #TeamCOG 🏁

This drawing says a lot. Made by one of our young people. Proudly on their bedroom wall. Thank you Matteo for this brilliant COG piece. We see it. We value it. Over 150 young people joined us last week. Community sessions back this weekend, all welcome.

"We don’t just teach life skills. We teach resilience, mindset, different languages. Respect and gratitude' Former World Champion and Olympian Shanaze Reade at another COG project today inspiring the next generation.  Co-creating exciting new futures.

We're honoured to welcome back friend of COG, Shanaze Reade all this week. 9-time World & Track Champion and former Olympian, Shanaze is spending the week with our young people across our various bike projects. You can also see Shanaze at our community BMX sessions this weekend

Sun is shining, BMX ready! Sessions a suggested donation of £2. Bikes and helmets provided.

No COG sessions tomorrow (Saturday 14th Feb) & Saturday 21st March.  Wishing our young people and their families a great half term break and we'll see you next Saturday!

2025 wrapped. Over 1,000 young people spent time with COG this year. The bike stayed central. It helped people back themselves. It gave space to learn. It opened routes into travel, work & connection. Thanks for being part of it. Rest up. Stay warm. Back on the bikes in 2026.

Winter racing is in full swing. We had five COG riders flying the flag at Merton. *Two riders hit the podium *Two riders made the A-final Over in Ipswich, two of our riders took on the Eastern round. COG is buzzing to see more of our riders gaining experience & enjoying BMX.

Our various bike related projects with schools & youth services in the borough have been full all year. Thanks to the staff, community partners & funders who support this work. Working together helps us give young people more ways to be active, safe, healthy & confident.

Young Pannonica has built a strong year for COG in her first racing season. She raced nationals and reached two A finals in her opening year. She won the East Regional Series. Carrying the COG name with discipline and sets a clear standard for her age group.

E17 has always been home to BMX talent. Higham Hill once built UK champions & that energy is back. Young people told us about an abandoned track. We found it buried under glass & waste & brought it back to life. Now we ride & grow together. Safe spaces build stronger communities.

We received an update on the bikes & parts that we donated and have reached Africa. Young people here in Waltham Forest stripped, fixed & prepared those bikes and parts under the guidance of our mechanics. Their work now supports those in Africa who use those bikes for daily life
