what most likely happened was that it was originally a song cortis participated in creating but didn't fit the vibe cortis was going for, someone in the company realized the song fit txt so it was later sold/given to txt. this happens literally all the time in the music industry

martin already had some experience in composing music and producing prior to cortis but that was from his own personal hobby since his dad always encouraged him and gave him the tools. his dad, not the company. even then, he ALSO learns tips from yt videos lmao
