you are busier than ever but jobs keep disappearing and people are getting laid off constantly new jobs keep appearing but there’s huge damn for experts, it’s hard to train people and keep them up to date for most people it’s hard to keep up and adapt - tech was already a career where you have to grow constantly, now to keep being relevant you have to do it at x10 the speed and the worst part of it is LLM reliance makes everything both harder and easier, you have to know to to use it without losing yourself the reality of the current situation is much more nuanced and from what im seeing we have priced out a lot of software engineers out of their jobs - and i mean people who just want to do their jobs and go home, and i believe the same thing is happening in many other industries we have leadership and management who barely understand the tech to push employees harder than ever, we have startups trying to make it before frontier labs release their product as a feature and we have so much money invested in many AI companies there’s no turning back, the tokens must flow so saying that everyone is busy and there’s huge demand for computer experts is true, but there’s also a reality than many tech people or investors dont talk about
