The mother who killed her husband and 3-year-old son by stabbing them in the chest had been at the Great Wolf Lodge in PA for three weeks. Just like Lindsay Clancy, Metallica Rose Harrison, 27, allegedly tried to take her own life after killing her child. She whined about how "hard" she worked to be "the best mother." In a call to 911, Harrison, who is overweight, asked for help finding a vein in her neck after she was unsuccessful in finding it herself. "My husband and son are already gone in the bed in the living room. They're already gone, I'm sorry," she said. Both her husband and son were found with stab wounds to the chest on the mattress, and a butcher knife was found on the floor. When police arrived, Harrison told them she was "suicidal, not stupid" and complained about how hard she worked. "Every day I work so hard. To be the best person, the best mother, the best wife. It wasn't supposed to end like this. I was supposed to have my happy family. That’s what I envisioned since I was a child," she said. The family reportedly checked in on September 21 and then extended their stay on October 5. Harrison has been charged with double homicide.
