Hey @iameddiepinero
I've been inspired by your podcast for a long time
I don't know if you'll ever see this, but I have a newsletter where I share daily motivational extracts from different people in history, and I'd love it if you could subscribe: theinnerwar.app/newsletter

20 hours later with Astra
β’ shipped the MCP for MediaFast - Reddit marketing now runs via Claude/ChatGPT
β’ SEO job across 700 pages
Is it worth the hype? NO
β’ still dumber than Claude Fable
β’ best used as "hands" while Fable stays the "brain"
Good tool. Not the revolution people are screaming about imo
Time to see if the Astra hype is real
Running Astra on ultra mode to:
β’ build the Android version of my iOS app
β’ finish some internal tools
β’ wrap up the MCP for @mediafa_st
Worst case scenario:
β’ I lose time
β’ I burn tokens π
Best case? 3 things shipped in one weekend

After exactly 30 days of building in public, I got my first trial today
71 people downloaded it and looked at the paywall, 1 started a trial
I'm so tired from all the work I did that I can't even be excited for this, but 1 person actually started a trial, congrats to me
Day 25 of building a SaaS to $1M ARR
Yet another post for Static Wave went viral today
I also started working on the PayWall and made some minor bug fixes
I will ship the update that makes the app paid tomorrow
Apple claims 90% of their apps are reviewed within 24 - 48 hours
My first app has been sitting in review for 5 days now
I've been able to publish 3 different apps to the Play Store from start to finish in that time
It takes at the least 1.5 hours and at most it took 2 days
Another reason I hate Apple, and we're paying $99/year for terrible service ontop of having part of our revenue taken
Day 23 of building a SaaS to $1M ARR
Today, my new app Static Wave: an Internet radio player with 45,000 radio stations was approved on the Play store
I marketed it on Reddit again, 3 posts, went viral, 5,000 views cumulative
81 new Android users
I then quickly spent the night fixing bugs / implementing user feedback
Speed is the name of the game
I'm launching a new app tomorrow, so I'm doing research to see how others who have paid apps are doing it
Through this, I discovered 2 more subreddits to post my app in
Documenting it in case this is the one
This is how my Reddit posts got 11,000 views in the last week:
I spot and notice patterns
The first pattern was how receptive people were to "free app giveaways" in this subreddit
I have an app that was free anyway but people jumped at it
New pattern spotted: this guys is giving away his app in exchange for people joining his apps subreddit, will try it
Just caught myself thinking about the best distribution method and how to ensure my App doesn't get rejected from the App Store as well as how to hey the highest CPM from Google Admob
2 years ago I was in a classroom I hated being in, today I am doing what I love
$0MRR, but I couldn't be more grateful
Maulik, 3 different apps of mine went viral on Reddit in the last 21 days
I recommend you engage first in comments to gain karma, nothing related to your product in the slightest, even in meme subreddits
Then look for founder subreddits, they have daily posts where they just say share your product below, and do so. There are an average of 5 of these posts every single day, you can get 100+ website visitors through them
Then create a free lead magnet to your site, offer users something for free, that leads to your main app. For theseosaas.com, I offered people free SEO audits, went viral multiple times, it cost me $0.05 or so for every audit, but I got a ton of traffic
Reddit is not a sprint, it's a marathon, don't jump ship and go to TikTok yet, I had 6 accounts banned there, the seventh one gets an average of 700 views for every Slideshow
The most important thing in all of this is to sit down and look at what you did wrong, and improve again next time
Day 21 of building SaaS businesses to $1M ARR
Today, my app ExcuseLess got approved on the Play Store
I marketed it on Reddit and the post went viral, getting me about 100 downloads in under 24 hours
Here are 5 blog posts you can write to improve your SaaS' SEO:
(1) "SaaS vs X" posts
(2) Top 5 tools lists (yours in middle)
(3) Answer niche queries e.g. "Best Reddit outreach tools" @OrganiqReddit, you should try this
(4) Position your SaaS as alt to top players
(5) Drop your link in high-engagement Reddit/Quora/X thread
My product theseosaas.com went viral on Reddit
Not by mistake
But because before coding, I thought about the viral post first: product-first approach
