Getting keyboard shortcuts right in web apps is exceptionally hard. Well, it's not hard to tie one key to one action. That's what most apps do. They stop there.
But it's very hard to build out entire keyboard-only flows, considering all the conditions, switching, jumping, field focusing (and unfocusing), moving between regions, working, pausing, and resuming, etc. This is why you rarely see it.
Basecamp 5 has it in spades. It's extraordinarily fast and functional. @dhh went to town making this happen. And here's the demo. Watch this.

Personal update: I've not joined Anthropic. They never asked, but I decided anyway. I remain deeply passionate about shitposting and plan to resume my work on it in time (tomorrow)

You can now use your ChatGPT subscription in the Zed agent, with the same usage and rate limits you benefit from in Codex directly. We're grateful that @openaidevs continues to support subscription-based access for third-party tools, even as others move toward usage-based billing.

We’re updating our ChatGPT Pro and Plus subscriptions to better support the growing use of Codex.
We’re introducing a new $100/month Pro tier. This new tier offers 5x more Codex usage than Plus and is best for longer, high-effort Codex sessions.
In ChatGPT, this new Pro tier still offers access to all Pro features, including the exclusive Pro model and unlimited access to Instant and Thinking models.
To celebrate the launch, we’re increasing Codex usage for a limited time through May 31st so that Pro $100 subscribers get up to 10x usage of ChatGPT Plus on Codex to build your most ambitious ideas.

Boy, I sure miss that Turbo button on my IBM compatible PC.
You knew it probably didn’t do much 😂
But you pressed it anyway. For everything 🙃
Feels the same watching devs run with Opus 4.6.
There are other more affordable models out there, just as good, go use them.

Brand new app.
Claims 10 Million users in the first screenshot…
Hey @AppStore…
My app built with @rork max is now live on the App Store. Next up, UGC army
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The promoted app has zero ratings and was released yesterday, contradicting the "trusted by 10 million+" claim shown in the screenshot. apps.apple.com/us/app/sauce-r…

i rly don't know the diff between vercel & cloudflare
but vercel marketing is more polished... which actually makes me believe cloudflare engineering is better.
i have no reason to think this... other than in any eng rivalry, i assume the better marketed product is worse...

What is my perfect crime? A developer types bun test. He meant bun run test. Do I throw an error? No. I run his tests. Built-in runner. They pass 10x faster. He thinks Vitest ran. It didn't. I ran. He types bun build. Same mistake. Same result. His bundle appears. He ships it. Months go by. He types bun server.tsx. Not a mistake this time. He's curious. It runs. JSX and all. He tells his team they're still a Node shop. Node does TypeScript now, he says. But not .tsx. I don't correct him. He never installed pg. Bun.sql is talking to Postgres. He never installed the AWS SDK. Bun.s3 is uploading files. He never chose a runtime. He mistyped a command six months ago and I never said a word.
