President Zelensky refusing to surrender 20% of his country to Russia is not an “obstacle.”
Russia demanding 20% of Ukraine is.
You’re welcome. And #SlavaUkraïni
Yes I did. @EmmanuelMacron is a castrated ladyboy. He would surrender France to three young boys waiving a baguette as a sword.

We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.

Unfair to Chamberlain, Mr. Congressman! He didn’t know what was going to happen and acted for peace in good faith. He didn’t embrace a fascist dictator and his deadly expansionism. We have Chamberlain's terrible mistake to learn from. I’m afraid Trump comparisons now lie within the Axis.

Hamas massacres anyone suspected of disloyalty—no trial, no evidence, no justice.
They snatch people off the streets and execute them.
If Muslims and so-called anti-Zionists who terrorize the Western world by shutting down streets, blocking roads, and disrupting daily life actually cared about human lives in Gaza, they would protest Hamas—the ones who started the war on October 7, refused to release the hostages to end it, and still refuse to disarm so they can launch the next October 7 massacre.
Meanwhile, anyone in Gaza who may oppose them is executed.

We currently see no signs from Russia that it wants to end the war. We see no basic steps toward de-escalation. Everyone is talking about diesel and forgetting about grain. In a month or two, everyone will start talking about an agricultural crisis. There won’t be enough food for countries across Africa, some Asian countries, and the Middle East, because we export millions of tons of grain to these very markets. And now Russia is blocking the sea.
The United States isn’t feeling the effects of this, which is why the focus is only on energy. This is another challenge. It’s hunger. And it can affect many countries. And we need to think about everything and everyone, because we all live on this planet. We can prevent many different crises before they even begin and avert the challenges they bring.

So I was trying to understand why pull requests speeding up the Elixir version were being denied by the clankers while they were being accepted to Go/Express/Rust.
It turns out that, not only each project had a different starting point and a different prompt, but also each project also has a different set of verifications that they are required to pass!
For example, Elixir is the only guided to "preserve the pinned Rails reference behaviour", the only with a explicit verification that we are using Redis and draining its queue (so we cannot remove it while others can), and the only one actively enforcing it.
So it turns out that the people telling you to not read the code cannot even use AI to set up fair benchmarks (probably because they would have to read the code in order to do that).
You don't have to believe me, you can do your own research or ask your agent to do it for you. E.g. here is what Claude Code came back with: gist.github.com/josevalim/ae…

It's all been bullshit. All of it. Diesel, energy deals, peace negotiations, everything between Trump Co. and Putin's mafia is a charade. All they're doing is laundering money and trying to lift sanctions. It's all they care about and all they know how to do.
The Trump/Putin deal gets worse. According to reports, the US was also offering $100 billion of frozen assets (that are in the custody of the EU) in exchange for a limited ceasefire. kyivpost.com/post/86720

Today, there was a statement from the President of the United States that an energy ceasefire has been secured. This is good news for everyone – and it is important that it become reality.
Unfortunately, Ukrainian skies have been infested with Russian “shaheds” all day today. There have been glide bomb strikes and strikes on our energy infrastructure too. A power plant in Kharkiv was attacked this evening.
Overall, this past week alone, the Russians have carried out more than 200 strikes on our electricity generation and transmission facilities in Ukraine, and another 17 strikes this week targeted gas and oil facilities. They have killed more than 150 of our people, and more than 700 people have been wounded.
Ukraine has proposed many de-escalatory steps. Putin had one answer to all of them – “nyet.” We do hope that he will finally say something to America, Ukraine, and the entire world that will lead to a real and dignified peace.
Ukraine wants peace. The question is whether Russia does. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received all the appropriate orders. We are awaiting clear details of the dialogue between America and Russia – and we expect Putin to follow through on what President Trump said.
Well this is how diplomacy is done!
I just spoke with @MarkJCarney, @alexstubb, and @SecGenNATO Mark Rutte. We discussed the energy ceasefire announced by President Trump. Ukraine supports the ceasefire, and it is important that Russia support it as well. We are awaiting details from the American side. For our part, Ukraine always FULLY supports steps toward de-escalation, the protection of lives, and the decisions needed to end the war and guarantee lasting peace. Thank you!

Today, Russia expressed its thanks for the lifting of sanctions on diesel exports by dropping five glide bombs on residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia. As of now, sadly, twelve people have been confirmed killed, including three children. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Another fourteen people have been injured, and two of them are in critical condition – the doctors are fighting to save their lives. The status of twelve more people who may have been there is still being verified. All emergency services are at the scene, and search-and-rescue operations are underway. Overnight, thirteen of our regions came under attack. Residential buildings, infrastructure, and railway facilities have been damaged.
Last night confirmed once again that in Russia, they take any easing of pressure to mean they can keep fighting, to mean they can keep dropping bombs on cities. Different signals are needed. Russia must understand that it needs to stop the war, and for that to happen, Russia must feel its losses. Right now, it is our long-range capabilities that are ensuring this. And we will respond to Russian strikes. I thank everyone who is helping.
