I hate to say it, but if you’re running more than 2 sub agents at time, you’re almost certainly burning tokens for 0 quality gain.
Agents don’t trust each other enough to avoid double-checking everyone’s homework.

Claude Code (OpenCode / Codex / etc) is just so fun.
It's really removed so much of the drudgery of writing software and left mostly the fun part.
Almost makes me wish we could freeze capability development and enjoy this moment for a little longer.

In fact the average ChatGPT query takes almost exactly as much energy as a Google search in 2008 (that is the last time Google clearly indicated the electrical consumption of a search).

It's over. GPT-5.2 aces one of the most important benchmarks and it's not even close!

I met a founder today who said he writes 10,000 lines of code a day now thanks to AI. This is probably the limit case. He's a hotshot programmer, he knows AI tools very well, and he's talking about a 12 hour day. But he's not naive. This is not 10,000 lines of bug-filled crap.

We made some updates to Claude’s system prompt in claude.ai recently (developed in collaboration with Claude, of course). They aren’t set in stone and may be updated, but I’ll go through the current version of each and the reason behind it in this thread 🧵

i don't think you understand
you catch 3am dopamine and vibe code an iOS app
you drop $99 on Apple dev program like it's a gym membership
you launch an iOS app with liquid glass ui becuase its the new meta
App Store Connect rejects it for "metadata guideline 4.3" - 6 times
you get 3 downloads: 1 is you, 1 is TestFlight, 1 is your mom
Apple hides your app behind an app from 2014
you buy an ASO tool for $69/mo and find out all your keywords are 5 volume, 98 difficulty
you redesign your screenshots 5 times because "text in screenshots is now indexed" but still no downloads
someone ships a worse version of your idea, ranks #3 for your top keyword
you open App Store, type your app's name, and it shows your competitor first
a German user leaves a 1-star review because your app "has a hard paywall and should be free"
you spend 3 days fixing dark mode padding instead of improving retention
you flip your app to "mental health" and get instantly flagged for "medical guideline violations"
you own 6 .app domains, 3 testflight builds, 0 DAUs
your only user is App Review, and they hate you
why are you building another iOS app again?
i don't think you understand

People seriously underestimate how much work it is to build good products, and overstate how easy it is to vibe code a clone of something.
Still trying to wrap my head around Google spending $32B on Wiz when their AI talent could easily vibe code a clone during a lunch. I thought all software was now free?

Industrial robots have been around since the 80s. And yet there are still workers in factories.
AI raises the bar for when a dev is needed, it doesn't replace them.
