Have you seen their website? (before they changed it completely over the weekend, which also says a lot imo)
Just as example their plans, "Core WordPress"..

Works great! It totally didn't return html when it was supposed to return JSON.

And cutting off the supply is also pointless as there will be plenty of other synthetics to replace it with.
As example cutting of heroin supply is why fentanyl is spreading in the uk youtube.com/watch?v=JqqfI-bI…

Ok, example: explicitness of React "look! less code" etc.
Frequently presented as this amazing innovation and problem of React. This was either naive or disingenuous.
I think this explains the change in direction well svelte.dev/blog/runes (which I think is great btw).

Yeah I know, you get it wrong, that's why I don't assume and basically just quoted their pitch deck.
"Drive adoption with generous free tier" pretty clear right?

Thanks, I of course understand you can't go into specifics. That does say a lot, appreciate it 🙏
I did some calculations and sounds to me like you are doing great haha 👍👏

That's not correct, React and JSX were plenty controversial when they were just released. They became the standard because it's easier to use.
Especially nesting and moving elements around gets quite annoying with functions. See any random Flutter app..

It's so difficult because it seems trivial, until it's not.

Looked into it a bit more as was curious.
The complex type doesn't narrow T, so the return type becomes "valueA" | "valueB". Imo this should error..
But.. func<type>(); is manually narrowing the type, similar to "as", it is an escape hatch..

You don't really need a function, nor type definitions to get it typed as you have consts.
If you really want to use a function, just lean on the original type and inference..
