If I had unlimited tokens. Trust me, agents would do all my work too.
But I live in a third world country where I still have to pay for tokens, plus taxation form my government from doing so.
Even me on what would be considered a mediocre Max claude plan, sees people who can't even afford the pro plan.

I never got into computers because of the money to be made. I got in despite that. Making money was a fortunate outcome, one I have come to enjoy immensely. If it ends so be it. I will do something else, maybe become an auto mechanic, but I don't think i will stop building.

We hired a CS grad last month who genuinely thought writing clean algorithms from scratch was what got you promoted.
He spent 3 days writing a custom parser. I showed him how to do it in 20 seconds with claude, wrapped in an API, and told him to go hit the gym
He looked like his childhood was ruined.
Computer science degrees are officially liberal arts degrees now. Modern tech is just plumbing.

I went and rewrote fayapay, my ussd automation app.
Works only on android though.
But now, it's everything I wanted it to be.
Downloadable flow packs, declarative ussd processing and sms parsing.
Here's a brief look (used a wrong pin obviously).
Coming soon, FayaLink, send your transactions to a server for analysis and optional webhooks.

I was doing too much work on UNO Q’s microprocessor. I had sensory logic, telemetry emission as well as ESC and servo control. This cause the servo and ESC to jitter. To achieve stock remote level responsiveness, I added an R3 as a co-processor to handle servo and ESC only.

Happened to me. Luckily I think I have around 6 months or so to find something, but given how the job market is, I decided to start learning to be an A/C technician (which is very demanded job here in my country)
