TB Joshua started as a magician performing at the bar beach Later, he emerged with "Chrislam" - a blend of Islam and Christianity He later changed strategy after he was advised by some of his foreign visitors. 90% of Christians (including pastors) don't know TB Joshua. šŸ‘šŸ½
Prophet TB Joshua preached the gospel! In my own opinion, the man’s teachings were better than realms, portals and all sorts we hear today! His teachings were mostly on godly conducts, Christian character and the miraculous. Being critical of people is not the same as having discernment!

The Japanese government has estimated that there are about 1.46 million hikikomori, people who rarely leave their homes for six months or more. Not far from Tokyo, the nonprofit New Start sent young women, called rental sisters, to visit them at their homes. In 2007, a rental sister, a former welfare worker without counseling qualifications, said that "99% refuse". In one male shut-in’s case, her sealed letters were not opened, so she sent postcards instead. Leaving, she'd say, "OK, I'll leave this in the hallway," and leave something of hers (a CD, a manga), so she would have to come back for it. She thought of the young man inside, his heart pounding, wondering whether she'd come back tomorrow or the day after. Once, a loud hard-rock CD she had lent was returned with the message "I hate this stuff." "Yes!" she said, because he had finally thrown something back. Another rental sister asked a 20-year-old who had been shut in since the fourth grade to come outside. She asked him to meet her at the nearest bus stop to his home, and he came in his pajamas. Each meeting after that was farther out from his home: Atsugi Station, then Machida, then Shinjuku. Eventually, he came alone to Gyotoku, where New Start's dormitory is. A 2023 book by New Start tells the story of a man, given the pseudonym Daigo, who remained shut in for a decade, from his twenties until the age of 38, living on money sent to him each month by his parents. He ignored their letters, their calls, and an in-person visit. Then his parents told him that they were stopping the bank transfers, and wrote, "from now on, collect it from the New Start person." When a rental brother came to the door with his living expenses, Daigo opened it. Three and a half months later, he got a job. The book tells of another hikikomori, called Ayumu, also a pseudonym. At first his parents said, "our son is sensitive"; then they said, "No more visits, thank you." Over eight months of trying to reach him, the staff never heard him speak. 10 years later, his parents contacted New Start again. He was 35, and for five years he had not left the house at all. In 2024, after 30 years, New Start said that it would stop taking on new cases. Its founder, Futagami Nōki, had urged parents not to try to bear the burden of a shut-in child alone. But they kept doing so, and that was what, he said, "we couldn't beat."

Good News; High Court rules that wives must return dowry after divorce. In a ruling, the court says that even if the dowry was paid to the wife's parents, she must return the dowry to the husband and later demand compensation from her parents. Since the marriage is over and divorce has been finalised, not returning dowry implies that the wife owes her husband. If the husband paid Ksh 1.2m, the wife must return the money. If he gave them 50 cows and 100 goats the wife must return 50 cows and 100 goats or more depending on the value at that time.

The claims check out as largely accurate. Newton wrote extensively on theology and the Bible—estimates put biblical writings alone at around 1.3 million words, far exceeding his scientific output in volume and time devoted. Scholars note theology was his primary passion for much of his life. His views were heterodox: he rejected the Trinity as a later corruption of scripture (Arian-leaning), argued key texts were altered, and kept this private to avoid career ruin. Most papers stayed unpublished until the 1936 auction. His scientific achievements remain foundational and unmatched in scope.

EXCLUSIVE: The lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy case is opening up to Fox News, revealing how some evidence shaped his thinking. Michael Desronvil says he was struck by how "methodical" he believed Clancy was in the killings of her three young children. After watching video evidence and listening to courtroom testimony, Desronvil says the thought process behind her actions stood out to him. The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) is alerting parents, caregivers, and community members to an increase in online threats involving coordinated groups known as ā€œThe Comā€ (short for the Community). ā€œThe Comā€ is a network of online predators who use grooming, manipulation, coercion, and intimidation to exploit young people, which can lead to violent and/or criminal behaviour. Offenders often build trust, create secrecy through fear or shame, and pressure victims into harmful or unsafe activities. These groups target children and youth aged 8 to 17 across popular online platforms, including Discord, Telegram, Snapchat, Roblox, Minecraft, Twitch, and Steam. These online predators operate using the following tactics: - Building trust through friendship or romantic attention - Manipulating youth using fear, guilt, or intimidation - Coercing victims into harmful or unsafe activities, including: o Creating or sharing inappropriate and exploitative images or videos o Engaging in self-harm or harm toward others or animals o Displaying concerning usernames, symbols, or messages o Coercing children to participate in crimes—such as hoax 9‑1‑1 calls (swatting), online attacks, or sharing harmful content—often without realizing the seriousness of what they’re being manipulated into. - Forcing compliance through threats such as exposing private information, doxing, or swatting. DRPS has recently responded to a number of incidents in the community that are believed to be linked to this online predatory group. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to watch for patterns or clusters of the following behaviours: - Use of encrypted apps (e.g., Discord, Telegram) without parental knowledge - Withdrawal, secrecy, mood changes, or declining academic performance - Increased or secretive use of phones or electronic devices Interest in extreme or harmful online ideologies - New online contacts your child seems unusually attached to—or afraid of While one of these signs may not be of concern, multiple indicators together may warrant attention. You can help protect your child by talking to them about the risks of sharing personal information or images online. Ask direct, non-judgmental questions about the platforms they use and the individuals they interact with. Ensure you have access to your child’s online platforms and regularly review their activity. Pay close attention to platforms with chat or group features. If you notice any concerning online activity or individuals on online platforms that may pose a safety risk, report it to DRPS at 1-888-579-1520.
