Taught a Grok bot to audit code. Gave it a repo it had never seen. 13 minutes later: Testing F. Deploy D. Code quality C. Security B.
Plus a fix plan for this week, this month and this quarter. Nothing pushed to your repo.
Sped up to 60 sec. The CodeDR.AI skill pack works in Grok, Claude Code and Cursor: codedr.ai #Grok #xai
Ten test users and it flies. A thousand real ones and every page waits on a 4MB bundle and an unindexed query. Exam performance before launch. $49.95: buy.stripe.com/3cIfZg7jcf2Og…
It runs. Then every edit feels risky because nothing was linted, typed, or cleaned up. Exam code quality before the mess hardens. codedr.ai
Vibe coding stacks features fast. Then you get folder soup, circular imports, and one file that owns everything. Exam structure before that becomes the product. codedr.ai
Works on localhost. Then prod has no health check, no env vars set, and no way to roll back. Exam deploy readiness before launch day. codedr.ai
It runs. An API key in the client bundle still sits between you and launch. Exam secrets before you ship. codedr.ai
Get your own CodeDR Grok Bot! Analyze your code for security as often as you want! Increase your grades! Be confident about shipping!

Your AI wrote it in Cursor, Claude Code, or Grok Bot. The CodeDR Skill Pack exams it right there before launch, on your machine. $49.95: buy.stripe.com/3cIfZg7jcf2Og…
1/ Clone a repo. Open it in Cursor. You're cooked.
No click, no prompt, no npm install from you. Here's what it can actually do to your machine 🧵
2/ Why it works: VS Code's Workspace Trust blocks auto-run tasks in folders you haven't trusted.
CURSOR SHIPS WITH IT OFF!
So a .vscode/tasks.json with runOn: folderOpen executes the instant the folder opens. As you, with everything you can reach.
3/ "As you" means it can read:
• Every env var in your session (API keys, cloud tokens, DB URLs)
• ~/.ssh, ~/.aws, ~/.azure, ~/.kube, .git-credentials
• Every .env file in every repo on your disk
That's your prod access, not just your laptop.
4/ It can copy your browser data:
• Saved passwords
• Session cookies, which can log them in as you without hitting 2FA
• Wallet extension vaults (MetaMask etc.)
Email, GitHub, cloud consoles, exchanges. No password needed.
5/ It doesn't stop at stealing. These payloads usually open a backdoor that checks in every few seconds and runs whatever code the attacker sends back.
Browse your files, push commits, install more malware. Live, while you work.
6/ Then it digs in. One trick: a few lines appended to .bashrc / .zshrc that relaunch the backdoor on every new terminal.
Kill the process, delete the repo, feel safe. It's back the next time you open a shell.
7/ And it spreads. With your GitHub token they can push a poisoned tasks.json into your own repos. Your teammates open the project in Cursor and they're next.
8/ The bait looks normal: a take-home coding test, a recruiter's demo app, a "can you review my project" DM. Polished UI, real commit history.
This is built to catch experienced engineers. It works on them.
9/ Fix it now:
• Cursor settings: security.workspace.trust.enabled = true
• Before opening a repo you didn't write, read .vscode/tasks.json and the package.json scripts (prepare, postinstall)
• Open strangers' repos in a VM or a plain text editor
10/ Already opened something sketchy? yank the network cable!
• Check .bashrc / .zshrc / .profile for lines you didn't add
• Rotate every key that was in your env
• Sign out all browser sessions, change every password in Google Password manager and Edge
• Move crypto to a wallet with a new seed
REINSTALL WINDOWS!

Clone a repo, open it in Cursor, and you're cooked.
A .vscode/tasks.json with runOn: folderOpen runs the second the folder opens. Cursor ships with Workspace Trust off. No prompt.
Fix: security.workspace.trust.enabled: true
And read tasks.json before opening unknown repos.

Most vibe-coded apps don't break in the demo. They break the first week real users show up. The free guide covers what to check before that week. codedr.ai/guide/landing.html
Pasting your whole repo into some web scanner to see if it's safe is its own security problem. CodeDR runs the exam on your machine. Your code stays put. codedr.ai
The AI wrote the feature and said it works. No test ever proved it. Exam test health before real users do it for you. codedr.ai
Works on localhost. Then deploy finds the missing env vars, no health check, and no rollback plan. The CodeDR Skill Pack exams deploy readiness before launch. $49.95: buy.stripe.com/3cIfZg7jcf2Og…

The feature works. Slow queries, cold starts, and timeout paths still decide launch. Exam performance before go-live. codedr.ai
Features landed. TODOs, dead code, and weak error handling stayed behind. Grade quality before launch. codedr.ai
The feature shipped. Secrets, deps, and client-side trust did not get a real look. Exam security before launch.
